Dude, my gaming standards and portable electronic standards are far beyond those of 5-12 year olds who just love to play games regardless of how good those games are. Naturally DS is the the easiest game system to use on the market, so kids love it. Using Lite as an example: take a game, put it...
I wonder... crunching out a new periphral that may actually fail right alongside a new system might be a very bold move. I just don't see Sony doing that seeing how bad their sales as of late.
You can't blame them for losing the PS2 sales these days. I'm just utterly impressed it made it this far against all the new-gen systems. Xbox and cube both dropped out several years ago and are pretty much free these days.
Well, game library is what makes or breaks a console plus how well they fare in terms of sales. I'll disagree with your outlook on next gen though- devs have alot more power to work with now and we see the results in Skate/2, Mirror's Edge, GT5 or Grid, etc. I wish Soul Calibur 4 had some new...
Look at our now, good old ps2- it out lived all of its competitors and is still getting new games despite being in the next-gen age. Its also the most expensive, even when used/refurb, previous gen system.
But at least Sony did something about piracy on psp and ps3 unlike Nintendo. I'd say that at this point, I'm very curious to see what sony will come up with for the next psp. Also note that 3000, despite not being much different from 2000, has been mainstream hack-proof thus far.
When I see Nintendo make a decent product, I will. I've dealt with DS hardware and software plenty to dislike it and DSi isn't looking any better so far.
Here's why I truly enjoyed Lost Magic: the game had great replay value and was ridiculously hard due to absolute lack of Ai. Unique feature indeed and only from Nintendo.
In reality though, whatever series used to be on SNES and worked through PS1 are ok/good on the DS because there was little...
Because aside from ipod noobs, I rarely see anyone not using mp3 format everywhere. I haven't even come across a widespread mention of it until now and I get plenty of music weekly.
Way to use you ass nintendo! We need MORE ideas from it instead if your head!
I'll agree with no price drop. Also, PLEASE don't use Japan's DS sales as a base because they buy ALL quirky crap that hits the market. I'd look at US sales and European sales as a good bases.
