For what it's worth, Amazon also just dropped the price to $69.99 but doesn't include the mic.

I bought my two Kindle Fires from Best Buy and I didn't have a problem linking them. It just asks for your Amazon username and password when you first turn on the Kindle.
Forgive my ignorance here, but do the prices in the store generally match what's on the website? I mean, if I know a local store has a few for $1, what are the odds the the store will have others in stock for $1 that aren't on the website?
You might also want to check prices on Amazon.co.uk. They were cheaper over there last week (credit to Slickdeals) and I ordered Planet Earth and Frozen planet. Got them both for around $30 shipped. It just takes a little longer to arrive.
I recently bought the Monoprice 8323 and I love them. I did a lot of research and they are probably the best you can get for under $50, and maybe even under $100.

Amazon has Batman and Returns steelbooks for $12.96 each (free shipping with Prime, of course). I'm not a steelbook collector, but I was looking at picking up those two Blu's.
What is surprising is that the exclusivity contract they have with the NFL allows them to do this (assuming it does). Obviously by being exclusive, it means that nobody else can make an NFL game on the Wii U either. Not having a game on the Wii U only hurts the NFL and the NFLPA, whereas EA gets...
I bought it last month when it was 23GBP, which with shipping (about $4) came to $43 US, still an awesome deal.
It took a little longer to arrive obviously so keep that in mind. It was something like 10 days. A normal package from Amazon USA gets to me in like 5 days.
On a somewhat related note, Amazon.co.uk has the Harry Potter Collection (11 discs) for $43. That's the best deal I could find. I bought one last week.
