I just checked it out. The sale sucked. A lot of the sale prices are the regular prices at other stores. The odd thing is, some or the sale prices are actually regular prices at Compusa if you check out the non-clearance rack. Oncly worthwhile if you want some non-greatest hits versions of...
There's definitely a little YMMV component to this deal. The different TRUs seem to have some manager discretion that can be exercised because they've put the green tags up at different times and on slightly different games. I bet if the manager has a lot on inventory on a particular game...
A lot of Intec accessories are also on sale.
multitap vertical stand & av switch: $15
multitap horizontal stand & av switch: $15
av switch: $10
starter pack with controller, remote, extension cord: $15
2 controllers: $15
some other things also.
I tried to pick up the XBOX star wars + tetris $75 bundle after finding it at a local TRU. It didn't work but what happened was kinda odd.
First, he scanned one part of the bundle. It was either the games or the xbox package and it rang up as "$80 promo". Then he scanned the XBOX itself...

It was probably just a price mistake or a local match. It happens all the time. I don't doubt the opriginal poster. Last week, I picked up La Pucelle for $20 at a Target but it was $50 at every other target I went to.
Well at the St Louis park MN Target, I saw:
hulk,
desert storm
bond, agent under fire
dead to rights
sly cooper (1 left)
and some other stuff I can't recall.
If DDD follows that pattern they've been following for the past 1.5 years, there should be another 20% off sale in the NOV/DEC timeframe. Just check on www.jumpondeals.com or another coupon site.
