Don't believe him. Normally, hardware is NOT discounted at the Microsoft Store, only first-party published games. However, early on, the Kinect was found for slighly cheaper than retail. BUT, it's also completely out-of-stock and has been for days now.

Yes, just take your receipt to Customer Service. They barcode scan it and the register does all the work. Of course, read the back of the receipt to see how long your return/price match window actually is

The Wal-Mart in Dale City, VA (Potomac Mills) just discovered this morning that they never opened their sealed pallet. There were six on the pallet, I passed only because of the extreme distance from me. (discovered by fellow CAG'er Multicron)

All of the GameCrazys in Northern Virginia (possibly all of it?) are closing. However, none of the ones in Maryland or Pennsylvania are. (This info from two different GC employees). This might be different in other states.
