On Monday Tony Hawk 2X for X-Box went clearance to 11.88. Also, this isn't clearance, but Conflict: Desert Storm for PS2 dropped permanently to 9.99

I can't speak for other stores, but for Target it's a permanent price cut. I look in the system & it's still an active price at 19.99, but I'm sure it will be discontinued very soon so better buy 'em while they're in stock cause they won't be coming back

They'll be marked with temporary price cut signs in the Gamecube lockup. And I suppose this is YMMV, but it definitely covers Targets in the midwest region. It does seem like the temporary price cuts cover all Targets in the country, like when Breakdown went to 20 bucks when it still retailed...

Starting tomorrow, Target is going to have a temporary price cut of all Indigo colored Gamecubes for 69.99. Also, the Zelda Collection Gamecube bundles will be going 69.99 as well

Good call on F-Zero GX. I always thought there wasn't a racing game out there I couldn't beat but that one sure humbled the heck out of me. As for the all time hardest game, I'd have to give my vote to Beyond The Beyond for PSOne
