not to make this thread drag on... each store is independent based on merchandise inventory. If you hide something then they may mark it as stolen or lost and never make a price adjustment. The inventory and location usually determines what the clearance price is... and it may move up or down...

Sorry for the brief note earlier... I too missed out on hearing about this (recent penny items) until yesterday evening. We stopped at our local Best Buy before hitting the movies... I was only able to come away with a copy of pokeman... I was this close (imagine fingers closely spaced together)...

Hopefully this will help someone on the west coast. COD MW2 is now a penny and they were pulling them to send back for credit while I was there. So I missed out. But hopefully some of you will find some. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 at Best Buy

Just a warning here... I have an A30... the 24 fps looks great on HD DVDs... but it is a pain in the a$$ every time you switch to a regular DVD it does not automatically switch out of 24 fps... sent me into panic mode because I thought the player was broken... until I figured out it needed to be...
