Assassin's Creed 2 Master Assassin's Edition PS3 $69.99

Nice find. I think this was $99 when it first came out. I finally just finished it on my 360 and it was amazing. Wish this would drop to under $30 like AC 1 LE did back in the day. I want that statue and a reason to power on my PS3.
 
Didn't expect to see that back online, I would probably bite if I hadn't picked on up at my GS two weeks ago. Not a bad set, the statue is pretty cool.

Can someone explain to me these "link synergy" things that pop up whenever I click on a link? Is this where you can get like $0.01 everytime someone clicks on your link?

Use 20from80 and saver then get hasbro family game night with it and trade it in to gazelle for $20. This should make the total cost of the assasins creed special edition about $50. only 2 left

You guys will not be disappointed with the statue; it's super nice and could easily have retailed for $20. Only wish it were the more rare black edition statue, but beggars can't be choosers here in the states.
 
Most of the stores near me have had this at that price for months now... too bad they're all in terrible shape since they're the gutted copies.
 
This is only a $10 drop. They were $80 when they first came out. The statue is really nice and the best thing about the special edition. The soundtrack is locked to the bonus disk, and the two exclusive levels are only worth $3 (they are packaged with the 2nd DLC chapter for $8 or you can buy the chapter by itself for $5.)

Yea- i already searched too. My experience is that Gamestop B&M is usually $5 more.

I've already got the SE- i just always wished I had the LE. Ezio is my favorite character this generation, and I'm looking forward to AC:Bhd Going to have to use will power to avoid this deal.

I made a few calls and one store told me they had a ton of them (PS3 version)... Preeety glad that I didn't get this on day one now.

Lol yeah he is one of my favs too... I REALLY wanted the black edition... just didn't have the cash to fork over at that time. I'll be getting AC:Bhd day one... I really like Ubisoft Montreal though The prince of persia and both Altair and Ezio have been some of my favorites both this and last gen as far as PoP is concerned.
 
thanks OP... found one at a local GS... be sure to double check it before you leave... since it was opened... it was missing the game case, they had to give me one off the shelf.

It's identical except that the cover says GameStop exclusive maps inside at the bottom.

Thank you... does the case hold the exclusive maps (spindle holder) or is it just in a transparent sleeve?
 
my recommendation is not to pick it up...this is the last attempt for them to selling it before it tanks to $29 just like it did in Canada a couple months back :baby:

Oh, they're not physical maps, just a code for ingame DLC. It's the same two maps you'd get from buying the DLC off PSN.
 
Did I miss something?? I ve been paying 69.99 since what february or so, cant recall the exact date, but its been 69.99 for at least 3 months now. still can be bought in stock at alot of stores, thought it would have dropped to 49.99 or 39.99 by now
 
I think the "deal" was that they were about to be out of stock on the website. Also, for whatever reason a lot of us didn't realize this was still available in store.
 
It's also the first time they've had it on the website in a long time, so people can see which stores have it in stock locally. But yeah, it's been this price for a few months now.

Yeah like I said about, those maps only have a value of $3 (you can buy the DLC pack the maps would come in without them for $3 less if you already have them or just don't want them.)

I went ahead and bit, there's no store with it in stock within about 1 1/2 hours of my house, so at least this saves me a trip out. If they do drop more, I'm ok with that. Definitely feel like it's worth it, ended up kicking myself for not picking it up way back when.

Pardon the ignorant question, but how does Cheapy get money from a link posted by a CAG member? Does the CAG member somehow know how to integrate CAG into links he posts, or does CheapyD come in and edit these types of posts and modifies the links to include his affiliate program, or what?

Just wondering how it is arranged that this random CAG member is either posting affiliate links for CheapyD, or if he is coming in and making the changes, or if these links are really profiting the OP and not Cheapy?
