I'm fine with Sting going for the belt in one of the off PPVs. It's better than throwing Kane, Orton, or Show in there. However, if they were going this way, Sting's Wrestlemania match is even more short-sighted now than it was then.
It is definitely something that they've needed to be doing with both of the secondary belts for a while. It was always silly to me when the IC and US champs would wrestle and the belt wouldn't be on the line.
The whole match was awful. Didn't need the run ins, especially since half of them didn't make sense historically. Sting deserved better. At least Walking Dead starts in a few.
Maybe they'll do a full DDP and have Steph beat him tomorrow.
I would be down for that if the bunny was revealed to be Zack Ryder.
