From what I remember, you can't play online if you refuse to update, but that's where the limitation ends. Game should still launch just fine.  I believe there is no difference between PS4 and Xbox in that regard.

Based off the box art they show with the double pack, it's assumed that the gold pack is included inside the packaging and not a standalone steelbook.  I suppose we wont know for sure until it releases.

Marvel's Avengers "Earth's Mightiest Edition" was announced at NYCC.  Looks like it comes with a Steelbook.  No word on price or if it's exclusive to certain retailers. 

I received the email just a few minutes after I placed the order. Checked my order status again and it says "Pre-order" for me.

I received confirmation email after my preorder and it also appears in my account under the orders tab.

Same. No link and no email but was still able to secure a preorder with the free pins and everything.

Finally got a new code from NoKeys. I second the suggestion to use Paypal. Were it not for Paypal, I don't think I would have gotten a replacement code or even a refund for that matter.
