    Valkyria Chronicles (PS3) $19.96 @ Walmart

Just in time to get people ready for the sequel. Great deal, though I already picked up my copy months ago. This is one time I don't regret spending the extra dough.

God of War Collection PS3 (+FREE GOWIII DEMO!) 36.99 FSS + ECA DISC at Amazon

Don't understand why anyone would poo-poo this release. The collection (though semantically I don't really think two games justifies a "collection") is cheaper than buying the games separately on ps2. 720p/60fps support and trophies are just icing on the cake. I played through part 1 and have...

OXM w/Disk $7.50, Nintendo Power $4 and Other Magazine Discounts at Amazon

Picking up PSM and NP for $8 brought a smile to my face. Though it also opened up old wounds about EGM's dissolution.

Amazon: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard $24.99

I'm a proud mac owner but he's right. And besides, you made the original assertion that was never supported with facts. Whereas Snow Leopard is an incremental, mostly under the hood fine-tuning, Windows 7 is a "back-to-the-drawing-board, we messed up big-time with Vista" overhaul.

Connecting my PS2 to my LCD

I bought a 42" plasma last year but as PS2 games look like crap, I decided to keep my 27" Sony CRT for non HD gaming. I haven't tried using component cables on my plasma, though.

    Ico

I am stupid, happily so, as I grabbed it off of ebay for $50 recently. I remember seeing it for under $10 years ago on store shelves. Hindsight, ugh!

Anybody still playing PS2? What games are you playing?

Need to return Okami, too. Currently working on Yakuza, Gran Turismo 4 (in anticipation of 5), and Soul Caliber 2.

    Amazon DOTD for 9/6/09 - NCAA Football '10 (PS3) - $39.98

Consumers make these games top sellers each year regardless. Once sales figures decline significantly, EA may think about implementing roster updates.

    Jeanne d'Arc PSP $10.28 @ Fry's

I bought it thinking (hoping, expecting, believing) I'll own a PSP by taking advantage of the inevitable deals on the 2K/3K models when the GO hits the street. Persona, Gran Turismo, Peace Walker, Dissidia, etc...have decimated my resistance based on the silly premise that says "I'm lacking...

    Retro-loader NES $14.99 at buy

I'm wondering about the included controller pads. Does anyone know if it is a proprietary connector, or could we use a standard nes pad?

Fry's instore NDS/PSP price drops Dragon Quest V and FFCC: EoT for $5.88 more

Damn, picked this one up last weekend for $17. Though I checked and it's now sold out at the locations near me, so I shouldn't be too upset.

(FREE) ECA Membership, Amazon Codes are down for time being

This seems too good to be true. Already recouped half my membership fee on one order. The discount was applied to my entire order, not one game, as the instructions on the ECA site indicated.
