The local FYE has some, yes. The fact that those PS1 games are still there after all this time should give you an indication of the quality involved. I don't think I could force myself take any of them even if FYE were giving them away.

Be warned about that free cone. I got one of those, but when I put it in my PS2 it completely screwed up my system.

The Universe at War box lists XP under the requirements. I installed the game (which I got at Big Lots) on my XP machine and it runs just fine.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I should clarify a couple of things. This PS2 came with a couple of adapters for plugging in to the electricity and the TV, so that's not a problem. It came from England. Japanese games won't play on a European PS2, right? Or am I wrong about that?

To make a long (and not very interesting) story short, I have ended up with a PAL PS2. It didn't come with any games. Are there any good PAL-only games that would make it worth my while to keep this PS2? Or any good forums/websites that discuss this issue (PAL gaming in the U.S.). Thanks.

Thanks for mentioning Crush. I was driving right past a CC at lunch and that comment was what prompted me to stop in and check things out. They had one copy. I meant to pick up Crush sometime, but had forgotten all about it. I'm excited to try it out after all the good things people have said.
