I tried the demo, it wasn't my cup of tea. Not sure why the text just flies by in a game intended for kids who aren't going to necessarily be able to read it that fast.

The villager maker does not work for me. I put in my code and hit "redeem code" and nothing happens. It just makes a metallic noise. Tried on IE and Chrome. Hope the actual game is better programmed. :(

I don't think they're going to "go after" anybody who cancels their credit card or otherwise can't be billed. There will be enough people who don't hear about this and get repeatedly billed year after year after year to keep them in business for a long time.

Amazon also sent me my code. But here's the weird thing: I also got a code sent to me from GameStop, and I never ordered the game from there!

Tried the demo last night. It's pretty damn cool. At one point, we got a message that one of us had "awoken the Witch". "Is that bad?" I asked. It turns out that yes, it is bad. Very very bad.

You're forgetting that in order to get the motion controls on the 360 you'll still have to buy a whole new controller.
