If you bought it at Best Buy, then it should come with an online pass assuming its a NEW copy. Passes wont even be included if you bought it off the used section. If its Blockbuster, then idk. Most of their is stuff used anyways. Unless you bought a non-gutted copy then i would return it.

I dont know what your trying to do. If you already have an online pass for your account. You should be good to go and play online with your first online pass. Codes are different because their one time use codes for the same product.
