Thanks for this post OP. It wasn't mentioned in the other thread. Trading in a stack of about 20 games tomorrow. GS wins on base value on 17 of the 20 games. Honestly I'm a bit flabbergasted.

Wait what? My order already got canceled (bought it through Amazon) a while ago and theres nothing on my Amazon account regarding this anymore at all (been the case since a couple days after order) and no e-mail either. Gonna bet I don't get one either :|

It's been like this for a few weeks now on Best Buy, the black and blue ones only as well. In store both controllers are $54.99 but I picked one up last week in store for $35.99 after I let them know.

Everybody is such a pessimist. As an optimist myself, Gamestop happens to have the 2nd best trade in program. And it's 5 years in a row. What you're hoping for isn't going to happen.

Back in it thanks to VCU, Washington and a couple other games today. Nice after the disastrous first day I had. Wish I just copied President Obama's bracket. 29-3 and in the top 100 percentile, doesn't get better than that.

What exactly do you want them to say? They can't lower the prices, the best they can do is brush you off politely and ignore you, the worst they can do is to tell you to get out of the store which they are supposed to do. Will be picking up Fallout 3 GOTY to use some of my credit, thanks OP.

Gamestop. Some of the complaints against them make no sense. You don't have to buy the game if it's in bad condition since you can look at it before you purchase it and you can return it within a week. Honestly the convenience factor wins for me, and the prices on older games are on par or...

Gamestop. Quit using Amazon after it took 1 month to get my credit, with several games being rejected for 'cosmetic damage' to the cover. Never again. One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever dealt with.
