Went to K-Mart this morning. They only had 3 copies of the limited edition. I purchased 2 with 100 dollars in coupons it cost me 21 and change a copy. Easy transactions and got another 40 dollars in coupons.
I have never heard of a company having 2 different prices for PS3 and the 360 for the exact same game. Just look at Target, Best Buy, Toys-R-Us, etc. But that's Gamestop for ya.
Ohh yeah and if you want to pick it up in store, the price is 8 bucks, not 5. Just check the website. Not that 3 bucks is really much of a difference, but it's just the stupidity of their pricing policy.
Gamestop must be the worst retail store in existance. I just called to see why the ps3 version was more, and if they would match the price. Shockingly, the answer was they have no idea but they can not match prices.
Does Toys-R-Us, K-Mart, Target or Gamestop price match. Been interested in that game for a while and the price can't be beat. But none of the BB's in the NYC area have it in stock according to the website.
Technically it is a deal. It is a ten dollar gift card with Arkham City, along with a question about it. Maybe someone has an answer like "they increase the gift card closer to release date"
I can confirm the game is going for $24.90. Just bought it at a BJ's today, and even though the sticker said $53.99, the lower price is what you pay. It is not the move edition however (didn't matter to me).
