Same boat. Though as you will soon learn, that 5 match counter is broken. Took me way more than 5 matches for the prompt to go away. Even after that, I can't get into comp. Google leads me to believe that 'new' players need to win 50 matches before unlocking comp. Way lame.

I had an issue like that with my one a few years ago and turned out to be a bad power supply (i.e., the wire that plugs the console into the wall). You can get an off brand replacement on Amazon for like $50.
