We'll, unless GameStop has a bunch of killer deals on games, looks like its just going to be 2-3 games for me this year. That and a 2nd Xbox One X for my cottage. The Xbox One X bundles are too good to pass up.

There are a couple deals I will take advantage of, but all in all not too much I don't already own. Kinda bummed, but then again the last thing I need to do is buy more games so maybe its a good thing.

I would take that wager. MS's new approach, at least publicly, is all about having multiple systems available for people to choose from and having all games work no matter which system you have. Dropping support of Xbox One the minute the newer console comes out would be going against this...

Ungodly? Hardly. Buy collectibles from Triforce, Hollywood Collectible's Group, Sideshow, Weta, Prime 1, etc for a few years and see how collectibles in CE games hold up. They don't. Its like comparing action figures to high quality statues. Don't get me wrong, if people enjoy them...buy away...

I'm just used to higher quality collectibles and usually don't order limited edition or collectors edition games as a result. I purchased the power armor edition on a whim, but came to my senses before it shipped.

I cancelled my power armor edition of FO76. Seems like a lot of people are doing that. I cancelled mine due to the likelihood of my not liking it due to quality tho. Nothing to do with the game really. If it had been higher in quality I likely would have kept it.

This has already been addressed, at least on the MS/Xbox side. MS in now using a universal platform so all games will work on all future hardware, natively (from the Xbox One forward). That means no more need for backwards compatibility, same as PC has it right now. Sony hasn't said anything...
