The clock is some sort of promo item for Carrot Top's infamous movie Chairman of the Board. Can't find any info on it, but I bet someone would love to own it. Maybe Norm MacDonald: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lL0WayC7jW0

Was travelling this week, and met up with a guy from another province clearing out some of his collection. Didn't get everything yet (it's in storage), but I'm making arrangements to pick the the rest of his stuff next time we're in the same area. 2600 lot - only game I don't have is Smurf...

The Official 2015 Yard Sale Thread Post your finds!

Haven't posted in a couple of weeks - consider this my catch up post.  Was out of town last weekend, so I hit up the Saturday yardsales elsewhere. Competition was seemingly fierce, but I did manage to snag a few items here and there. XBOX and XBox 360 games were $5 for the lot - dude just...

Bought a Vectrex this weekend, but flipped it to a friend so quick (owned it for fifteen minutes) that I didn't have time to take a picture. Wasn't an amazing price ($140), but it's only the third one I've found in the wild. Also bought a boxed Zelda Windwaker Wii U with nine games, an extra...

Didn't find too much today, but I'm glad I'm moving away from the new consoles into more familiar territory.  Everything pictured here was $42 dollars. Highlight for me was the complete in box Harvest moon. The rest I will likely flip or trade. Left a few things behind today, but no regrets...

Wasn't a crazy week, but still managed to snag a few interesting items.  $15 for everything. Sixteen games, including a couple of Pokemon titles, Phantasy Star 0, and Suikoden. I haven't tried to sell any of my recent DS finds (I'm at 4 lots and counting in the last couple of weeks), but...

First time this has happened to me at my local thrift store - grabbed the case, opened it up, and found a free game inside. $4. Case is sold, game is in my collection.

Here are some pickups from the past week. Nothing too crazy, but no complaints.  $18 for everything. The woman at the very next table (multi-family sale) had the same DS for sale for $50. This one was in better shape, and a fraction of the price. Really enjoying Super Princess Peach, BTW...

Saw a woman advertising a yard sale yesterday morning, and noticed some video games in the pic. I sent her a note, and she let me come over last night and take a look. Here's what I got: $150 for everything. Everything is in excellent condition, and there's nine Pokemon titles, so I'm...

Here are my weekend finds - had to travel far outside my regular stomping grounds as the flea market folks were out in full force and grabbing everything in site: $45 for everything (Dance Mat not shown). Passed on a PS2 and games, which I may regret later.  $3. Lots like it should be a...

So I had a crummy weekend where I was behind other collectors every step of the way. Luckily, a few follow up emails today led to a couple of pretty rad finds.  But first, here's a standard Wii collection: $30 for the lot. Almost everything is complete. Enough doubles in the lot to ensure I...

Had a crummy video game day, but was happy to find this: Looks and works like new (they let me try it out on site), and they only wanted $10. Done. Now all I need to do is find some eight track cassettes and I'm good to go.

Thanks! I was a little surprised that everything worked as well as it did, and the games aren't terrible. Not a clue what to do with the actual computer, but it's not like I was going to hook it up to the internet anyway.

Landed this for five dollars. They couple hosting the yard sale had games for both systems, but couldn't locate them, so they gave both consoles to me for five dollars total. Both work, so it wasn't a bad score. Hoping I hear back about the games soon.

PIcked this up for $35 taxes included. Don't usually buy computer stuff, but this looked like fun. Everything works, and the games are relatively playable, despite the crummy joysticks.

Nothing too crazy this week. Each game was $5, and the shirt was free. Was interested in the 3DS system that came with the games, but it was way overpriced.

One of my local thrift stores just discovered ebay, so it looks like I won't be going in there too much anymore. Prices shot up 200-800% overnight.  Boourns.

I picked it up because I thought the artwork was great. The resale value was a pleasant surprise, considering I paid a little under two dollars for it. It'll probably remain in the collection at this point - I don't think I own a second copy.

First real yard sale scores of the season: t Most of this came from one location - landed the Pokemon Gamecube w/two controllers, all hookups  and six games (Pokemon Colosseum, Luigi's Mansion, Kirby Air Ride, Super Mario Sunshine, Sonic Mega Collection, and Super Monkey Ball 2) for $50, and...
