Had a $5 credit for Bestbuy and used it to get a $10 Xbox GC. Then got EA Access, downloaded the Anthem trail, got 6000 rewards points, used that with 2000 points I already had, and got a $10 gift card. Then cancelled EA Access.

Same here. I managed to get $20 xbox credit for $5, so that really helps soften the blow. But, now I'm debating on just getting something else entirely with the money. I agree. Ubi does DLC in a way that I don't really find that offensive. You're getting extra content and they aren't stopping...

I'm the same. I didn't like the first WD game, but really liked the second. I also got the season pass and loved it. What play style did you go with? I went gun free. The game gives you so many different hacker tools that guns feel unnecessary, especially considering the narrative. It's funny...

I bought it digitally, but am looking for some sort of justification in buying the Gold Edition.

Did anyone who owns the digital copy of AC Odyssey decide to grab the Gold Edition, today? 

I played it again a couple years ago. I really enjoyed it as a teenager, but I could relate much more with it as an adult. I don't want to say much and fuel any sort of expectations, but I think you'll get more out of it now than you did before.

I was also hoping for $20. It took Origin's SP about 9 months to drop to just 40% off, $24. The biggest thing to me is that I'm playing this game now and may not even care 9 months from now, since my backlog is ever growing and new games keep releasing. I'm weighing the difference between $24...

I got AC: Odyssey for $13, digitally, after using some gift cards I was given. I'm really tempted to pick up Gold edition. I'm afraid that the price won't come back down for a long long time, once the AC3 remake is released.

I like it. I had a great time with the extra story content.

For me, the story isn't worth the investment, nor the frustrations of the gameplay. Odyssey is night and day with Origins. You can see where Ubi wanted to go with Origins, but I don't think they arrived there until Odyssey. If you enjoy it, you enjoy it. A big thing with AC games, at least for...
