Oh wow my bad. I thought you had to simply activate your game...it has to be authenticated every time you start it? That's harsh... It makes little difference to me personally though. I would think most people who would play AC2 are probably always connected to the internet, but it's a shame...

I suppose that doesn't really matter...most every major PC release has been like that for a while now

Eh, the AC1 port to PC was pretty decent so I wouldn't worry about it.

Absolutely. I don't know why people say it's not a good game. Despite that I had work I should've been doing, I still played through it, ended up beating it in one day. It's short, but it's a good length for the kind of game they're giving you, and it's really fun. It's certainly not worth...
