Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling it? I've heard that might help, actually.

This I believe is correct. Borderlands 2 on 360 required a compatibility pack to play MP at all, so they probably just bundled it all together to not require downloading that separately.

Deleting the app won't do a thing. You actually need to redownload the app, launch it, and manage devices within in (it may be under a settings within the app, going off of memory). You need to then tell it to remove your console from all preview builds and go back to the General Availability...

Uninstall Battlefield 4 Premium DLC (the 8MB season pass), and you will only get 1 additional pop up, 5 minutes after launching the game. You won't see a 3rd, 4th, etc, every 5 minutes after the fact. And yes, I said Battlefield *4* Premium DLC, despite the trial pop up happening in Battlefield 1.

It won't on Xbox 1, because the entire game is digital. The disc is only being used as a license check to make sure you own it and can launch it.

I doubt it, that's a separate game entirely. The Xbox Live Arcade collection disc (for example) launched into each of the separate games themselves, so they contained the arcade game completely. Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection is a single game title, not a launcher into the separate game...

Actually, it was "100s more added in the months to come" (just watched the press segment again to verify). That's not 100s per month, that's over the following months (ambiguous how many), that 100s more would follow. We're over 200 games now, so there's definitely been progress towards it.

If you don't have a disc, and don't have the base game digitally, you won't be able to play just the DLC. You'll need either the base game digitally or a disc to play the DLC.

You can attach an external drive to a new console even without using the same gamertag (it's just the games on there). You just won't be able to play them on another console unless there's an account signed in that owns the games (or the console you plug into is the home console for an account...

Non-preview already supports purchasing 360 games from the X1. What you're probably asking for is does it support using credit on your account, which I don't believe that's changed.
