Hmm, I might pick up FIFA. Still play FIFA 14 on and off again and being digital (picked that up when there was a sale) it's the perfect sandwich to one of my main gaming playthroughs like open-world or fps gaming. See what I did there.  :p

The Journey is an amazing game mode (played with a friend and watched on Youtube). It's not quite at the NBA 2K level, but it adds a nice touch to the singleplayer side of FIFA

Deleting the app won't do a thing. You actually need to redownload the app, launch it, and manage devices within in (it may be under a settings within the app, going off of memory). You need to then tell it to remove your console from all preview builds and go back to the General Availability. Note: if this gets processed before the build you are on gets released to everyone as a General Availability build, then you will get a factory reset (but keeping your games and apps, you'll just have to add your profile back to the device).

Decided around 4am that buying Zombi as a late Halloween treat for myself was a good idea. Hope it wasn't an error in judgement...lol...so got three games I'd been wanting in this sale. DR3, State of Decay, and Zombi.

Seriously. As soon as I saw how slow that load screen was crawling, it left a bad first impression and brought back deja vu memories of another awful (imo) free game, Knight Squad.

I would understand if it was loading a multiplayer session, but it was only loading the single player, offline tutorial. And I didn't really understand the game. Is there no campaign/story? Is the concept like a shmup where you try to see how far you can get each time? It was late so I only had time to do a solo session. Got to a certain point and lost all my lives. I assume if I start it up again today, I'd have to start from scratch...?

Just a friendly heads up:  I believe I have purchased NHL games previously on Black Friday (digitally on both ps4 and xbox one) for less than this.  I'll take a moment to look back at the old super threads later but I'm fairly certain they were less (and might have even been deluxe editions).

so I've had a buck on my walmart account for like 5 years so I thought" I'll snag a 10 dollar card and save a buck" like a gangster

psn doesn't have any 10$ online so I settle for a 10$ xbox code

accepts my order, processes my order then cancels repeatedly

wtf?

no funny business on my end, I use the card all the time no issues

it shows up pending before it cancels so I know I entered the info in correctly

This is why I don't shop anywhere but amazon still, whether it's email delivery or postal delivery if something can go wrong it will go wrong

 
I think I might just have to switch to digital with Madden and NHL. I know physical copies will be cheaper on BF, but with two XB1s digital is so much nicer. I can get around $44 each by trading in at BB right now so being able to go digital and still get like $12 back is a no-brainer.
 
I'm glad they made Blue Dragon happen but I really couldn't get into it. It felt about as generic as a JRPG could feel when I played it like 5 or 6 years back. The art style is nice but doesn't really compare to Dragon Quest, it seemed like Toriyama dialed it back too much. If you only play one Mistwalker game get Lost Odyssey instead.

It's ok,you basically have to get through 6-7 levels before you face the real boss. Its Ef'n HARD as well but it's certainly a game that i would not spend my money on.I just made it to the last boss on my own and i got overwhelmed by all the minions which happens alot if you trigger the threat level.

Lost Odyssey is definitely the better of the two but I thought Blue Dragon was very good also when I played through it back when it came out.

sigh, another gamer driven insane by the overwhelming prevalence of remasters, seeing any new IP with rose tinted glasses. It's a shame to put another one down, but he wouldn't make it out there on his own.
