Go to “My games & apps,” down to “full library” then you can select Game Pass or EA Play and download the games from there. I don’t think I had to set up any family sharing settings

Earlier this year (June-ish?) I helped my brother do the GPU conversion a second time. He let GPU expire, got a couple of years of Xbox live gold, then did the conversion to GPU for $14.99. Got the full 2 years.
