Got mine from Japan a couple days ago.  Really liking it so far!  Using a wired controller and having to turn it off via a switch on the console feels oddly nostalgic.

I can only speak for Trine 1 and 2, but I really enjoyed them both. I hear 3 is bad, but 4 looks pretty good? I can see the Switch version being really good if you can use the touchscreen for creating Wizard items. It was done with a mouse in the original PC version, not sure how well that...

Nah, I'm not too worried about the size. In fact, I just went ahead and ordered the TG-16 mini. I hadn't pulled the trigger on Amazon JP all this time while the Coregrafx was available, so I guess this is what I was waiting for. I'm a sucker for that late 80's/early 90's clunky design anyway. :P

It looks like the TG-16 Mini is back in stock on Amazon JP. Now I'm torn on whether to get the Coregrafx (which I think looks a bit cooler) or the TG (which feels more important historically to the US).

I'm definitely biting on some of those Johnny Turbo games.  Definitely Night Slashers, and maybe Bad Dudes, Nitro Ball, and Gate of Doom.  Or would it be better to just skip to Wizard Fire? Also, what's the best deal for getting Neo Geo games these days?  A few of those are on sale as well. ...

Wait, is this normal? It's E10 on Steam (and PSN) but T on the eShop? Are they different versions of the game or something? Or maybe the rating changed and someone didn't update the game's store page?

No kidding. That game list would be an absolute steal at $30. I just don't want dedicated hardware for it, especially if the TV hookup is subpar.

That's what I figured. That said, I'm going to be overly optimistic here because the Castlevania and Contra collections have been on sale on both eShop and PSN simultaneously in December and in January. I'm gonna say they'll both be on sale starting Thursday because I smelled a Wild Guns sale...

There's no difference between the TG-16 Mini and the CoreGrafx Mini except form factor and controller color, correct?  It doesn't output at 50Hz or something dumb like that?

I've largely ignored Capcom Beat Em Up Bundle up to this point because I'm not particularly good at beat em ups, but I finally looked into it after seeing it on sale, and holy shit.  Some of those games look fantastic.  Is it a good collection for someone who's not a long-time beat em up fan?

The Picross sale sounds like a good deal, but I've been playing Mario's Picross on my 3DS for over 4 years and just recently unlocked the star difficulty.  Rare as these sales are, they'll probably happen again before I'm in need of another Picross game. Also, Monster Boy just hit a new low at $18.

Katamari Reroll for $10 and both Guacamelee games for 70% off on the eShop. Katamari is tempting, but I've already bought Guacamelee twice, so I should probably finally play it before I buy it for a third time.

Seems a bit odd to start such a sale on Wednesday instead of their usual Tuesday, but I guess that clean cut of new month/quarter is too hard to resist.

Pretty sure they're talking about the Xenoblade Chronicles 3DS port.

I was going to grab Donut County on PS4, but now I see it's also on sale on the Switch, so I might grab it there instead.  Is there any appreciable difference between the two?
