Thanks for the Dark Souls discussion. I was just about to buy it on the XBL sale, but after hearing how truly painful it can be (like Wombat, i love Skyrim but don't have the patience for such extensive grinding and dying).
Thanks for saving me $5.

Borders sends me coupons for 30 - 40% off from time to time. Even with that, the % is off of MSRP, making the guides comparable in price to Amazon.
25% off is okay but there are better deals to be had.
I checked GS over the weekend. They offered me $28.80 for my copy of Madden 10 for the 360 even after the 50% bonus and my Edge card. Looks like my choice now is using the coupon or going the Amazon route.
GS -- $20 out of pocket ($60 less $40 trade-in credit)
Amazon -- $30 out of pocket -...
So by using the coupon you get ~$2 in additional credit but GS gets to hang onto your $$ for another 6 months, which equates to about a 10.5% return for them.
I'd still take the $38.01 now, buy something else I really want, and pick up Madden at something less than the $60 street price once...
Agreed. Madden 07 was crap. Madden 09 was pretty good. Not sure how I'm going to like the 5% slowdown in this year's version, but opening up the run game, letting the 0-line make some holes, and getting rid of cheap INTs will be welcome improvements.
I grabbed Geometry Wars for DS for $9.99 - 20% last night. They've had Elite Beat Agents for a while but I've had that one forever. Everything else looked like garbage.
Over the last few months, the BJ's by me (Waterford, CT) had a couple of nice xbox 360 deals:
Forza 2 -- $22
NCAA 2007 football -- $2.80
mostly gone now, and the selection sucks, but once in a while you hit a good deal.
