Stellvia's first half was pretty nice, and could actually ended there. The second half dragged on a bit, bit still ok. If anything, just get the first 4 disc, since thet're missing 7 and 8 anyways.

Vandread second stage was better than the first, IMO. But that's from 6 year old memories.
 
Well when I went to check-out, everything in my cart disappeared. Took 45 minutes to add everything. Now the site is down. Anyone else having problems?
 
I had that happen earlier.

I've decided that I'm probably just going to stay with my one order. 100 bucks is more than enough. And I got a lot of the good 4 disc ova's

Unless they add something wow, like Fighting Spirit, I'm good.

BTW Chobits is awesome... one of my favorite animes. I paid full price for it and it was WELL worth it. Im a chick and still in love with chi.

It came back up a few times and I was able to re-add some stuff, but now it's totally down.

The one day I didn't go online after work...probably won't get my order in tonight. :cry:
 
I cant' get to the site and I just found out about the dael. This sucks. They better have enough product if they're running a deal like this.
 
Damn this is so tempting...I'm almost happy the site is down now, I don't exactly have money right to blow on more anime. Hasn't stopped me before though. >_<

Anyway, I'm thinking of picking up Lain vol. 1 and 4 since I already bought 2 and 3 in the "Buy 3 for $10" sale at EB/GS. Also Hellsing 1-4 and Soultaker 1-4....but $50...$5 a disc...dammit, I don't know. >_<

what a killer deal...$4 per dvd. Too bad Trigun has already started to sell out discs...thats one series i always wanted, just not for what it cost. Oh well, i'm happy with what i can get for that price.

I had that problem too, though I just used tabs in firefox to open them all up, then click buy on them one by one in sucession. Usually works and the last tab should show all in stock. Close it and it all goes away.
 
Seems like there's a few titles suspiciously missing, mostly the ones I wanted. If they are sold out I wish they'd give you the option to backorder, I'd gladly wait a year to get Samuari Champloo if they are only $5 a piece.

I couldn't even find 10 I really wanted that I didn't already own. Things like Chobits never appealed much to me, Lain was too slow and confusing, and I own pretty much everything else that looked interesting. I saw some things like the Captain Herlock series and maybe a couple others, but couldn't get to 10.

Edit: I may put in an order later, $5 anime is hard to pass up, but I'm kinda pissed even shows like Fafner and Starship Operators are strangely absent. If they are going to put Geneon titles on sale, put all Geneon titles on sale...

Owning these 8, does it get me the ENTIRE Fushigi Yuugi? How many Fushigi Yuugi DVD's are there?

In that case, all 8 Fushigi's, an Akira, and the Lupin movie will be my order..

Someone please clarify this Fushigi Yugi for me

I was upset that they had the 2 His & Hers Circumstance soundtracks but not the actual dvds. I'm missing 2 of those I think (I have 1-3), and have been looking for a while for them to go on sale somewhere so I could complete the set. :whistle2:(

All of these titles are ones pretty much going out of print (most have boxsets out). Especially the items still under the pioneer name. There has been a bunch of posts from Shawne Kleckner saying huge shipments are incoming on some dvds but alot of them are limited stock and when they are gone they are gone for good.

Get what you can while you can. There is some rumor of additional titles being added but adding in a high selling item like samurai champloo would seem silly. Funny to see them jumping ship on the UMD titles though.

I got in pretty early and noticed it wasn't there. Probably what caused their bundle of them to sell out a few days ago. What's there is likely the left overs. The pioneer releases are long out of print so you may want to pick up those at the killer price and amazon or ebay the missing volume 3. I really do miss the pioneer name. I'll always be a paionia!

Come to think of it my first dvd player was a pioneer and one of my first dvds was tenchi muyo (from pioneer) with the opening title "I'm a pioneer." Humm a bit unhealthy I suppose... People love it when you're a pioneer

I've had similar problems in the past. Simple solution. Move all your items to your "wishlist" and then when you're ready to order, move them back to the shopping cart. If you're idle for too long, rightstuf's inventory system automatically clears out all items in your cart (because you're taking stock from potential buyers).

Sugar, A Little Snow Fairy
Bottle Fairy (only 1/2 volumes included)

I'd definitely recommend the first two -- the rest you'd probably either like or hate depending on how well you like "cute" things. (Sugar in particular would be a great one if you have small children that you want to watch things with)

His and Her Circumstances isn't a Geneon release, its Rightstuf. Geneon just has the license for the soundtracks.

rightstuf tends to keep it's promises when you order from them. I remember 2 years back when they had the original Eva boxset for 40 bones. They got a huge amount of orders and I place my order on the last day. I thought that it would never ship and forgot about it. 3 months later, I got a surprise in the mail when all of a sudden, the Eva boxset arrived. So don't get pale, there's still a good chance it'll ship.

OMG THis is Crazy Sale. Out of Stock is crazy. IF it is out of stock try back in about 1 hour. If there are any ones that have been cancel or kill because of the connection it will show up back in about 30mins - 1 hour. Most of my stuff had 1 vol out but it can back in stock. Only Vandread Vol 2 (only need 1 and 2) did not come back and the other vol had about 40 left too (Rrrrrrr).

All of them I Suggested I like. Everyone has there own taste. Tokyo Underground I like for some odd reason, maybe because it was a rip of FoR. Strawberry Egg was funny just the fact the Guy looks more like a Woman than anyone else. I like the Comedy and action genre. I have be told that i have a werid sense of humor too.

I guess i have crappy taste.

Sorry forgot starman9000 try some El Hazard The Wanderers if they have them all in stock again. Its only 4 dvds for 26 eps.
 
I have a silly question about Chobits for those that already have the set. Is DVD 7 just recollection episodes and Chibits? I want to get it eventually, but if it's not part of the main story, it can wait.

Well, Onmyoji are live action....maybe he'll watch those

Stick with him long enough and he's bound to like a non Miyazaki anime...
 
last exile is very well done, quite underrated with high production values, solid music and animation. I found the story engaging and the characters well developed. The knock is its ending, but many animes have rather letdown endings but are still very watchable overall.
Hellsing is another very solid effort, even if the ending similarly is a letdown.
