Until Newegg has a free shipping option of ANY kind, the deal is basically just paying for your shipping. And it's hard to get excited about a free shipping deal when everyone else provides that already.
 
i want to buy a hard drive and 12 months of xbl from newegg and im holding out for some sort of deal from newegg, with this economy you'd think they toss out some coupon or something before december is over :0

Agreed...all the frickin business I have given newegg over the last year, it would have been nice to show some appreciation for existing customers...not just new customers who went to their site because of a too good to be true deal never to come back again except now to use the $10.00 coupon.
 
Thanks OP. I'm thinking about using mine on a cheap HDMI cable. Can someone though explain the difference between HDMI 1.3 and an HDMI cable that isn't 1.3? I just need one that I can hookup to my Xbox 360 and that will pass 1080p along with Dolby 5.1.

Newegg has free shipping on tons of their items. And it isn't like you're paying for crappy shipping. It's three business days. A company that deals mainly in computer hardware and ships out a lot...a lot...of heavy packages, I don't blame them for not having a free shipping offer. They would get destroyed.

Yeah, I agree. Kind of stinks. But Newegg does have some really good deals in the newsletters, so it's all good.

Some people need reminders to check their email about this kind of stuff. Maybe you are some loser who likes to read every single piece of junk mail in their inbox, but for me I delete almost every email NewEgg sends me.

In fact, some people use alternate email addresses for NewEgg and other businesses, and don't normally check them unless they have a specific reason (I use my yahoo account for a similar purpose). I know it must be hard for you, but please try to think before you post.
 
Woohoo! I'm loving newegg. Bought Dead Rising on BF for $9.99 and got this coupon. Not only that, they sent me 2 copies of Burnout Paradise for no charge in my package with Dead Rising. Think I may get Orange Box for $9.99 now :)

Bought Dead Rising on BF too, no free copies of Burnout Paradise and no free $10 coupon email. Can you smell jealousy? I guess it doesn't pay to be a loyal and long term customer.
