Just a quick heads up.

Word came down today that the WM home office will drop a lot of videogame price changes on 9/1/05 to $14.88 for a "Videogame Blowout".

Seeing how these are price changes being sent out by the home office this shouldnt be YMMV.

If I can get a list together I will.This may be big it may be not much at all but you at least have a heads up.


List from MY store.These prices will be in effectn at ALL stores.WM price changes are sent to stores based on what is in their inventory.

So once again this is just ONE store,but the price changes are nationwide.Your store could have more at this price.

Went to my Wal-Mart today and they had a huge bin full of games -- many of them were different than the list. I picked up Cold Winter for the PS2. The only other one I remember offhand was Trivial Pursuit: Unhinged because I made fun of it :cool:. Also the bin was near but not in front of the Electronics area, so if you are going to look at your Wal-Mart be sure to really look around for it.

They also had a TON of GBA games, each with 2 or 3 old arcade games (Rampart, Centipede, KLAX, etc etc) on them. I didn't think any were a good deal but I haven't seen them anywhere else.

all bin games were still $19.82 at my store. I asked one of the clerks about it, and he said that they haven't recieved any info about dropping them $5.

I see that the list is now on the front page. Eh..nothing really interesting I don't have. Most of it I don't really want or have from other deals and sales and the majority for even cheaper than $14.99. Thanks OP though.

when I went to my walmart and ask about the video game bin sale, the lady was like "I dunno was suppose to be here in the middle...i dunno.....call later.." then walks away...so let me get this streight some CAG'ers raided the bin, picked it up and moved it out of the electronics department??!?!?!
 
I can confirm some titles dropped... we got price changes on most of those games on that list... best deal on there is Mega Man Collection and Mech Assault 2 LE for $14.88 each... They also FINALLY marked down ICO to $15 as well as some other old ass games :)
 
Can someone give me the UPC code for the Mechassault 2 game. I'll enter it into the computer first thing when I get to work tomorrow so I can check the price on it.
 
Hey guys, just wanted to let you know I picked up IKARUGA for 14.88 tonight. I hadn't even looked at this thread, but we went to get some drinking water, and I ran into the video department to get a DVD and I saw the games on a rack directly across from the ones in the case. There was only one copy of it, and Baten Kaidos, 2 of mech assault. The tag on IKARUGA is green and it also says 9/03/05. So it may be worth a shot to check yours out.
 
I went to 2 Walmarts today. The better one had the usual sale bin with the usual big box of unorganized crap, and the ghetto city one had the usual everything on the floor and unorganized crap.
 
Noticed the bins in my neck of the woods. There was a mix of $15 and $20 games in it. Baten Kaitos was marked $15. Mech Assault 2 and some of the better ones were still $20.

I ended up grabbing Mechassault 2. My store still had it marked for $29.99 but it rang up for $14.88. I want to get MM AC for Xbox, but it is ringing up $20 bucks. GC version rings up for $14.88 though :S
 
Found Okage and Arc the Lad: Twilight of Spirits at the 4th Street Walmart in Lubbock. They had other stuff, but not a lot left.
 
My local Wal Mart had a few good $14.88 games, including Viewtful Joe 2 (PS2), Arc the Lad: Twlight of Spirits(?), and Wild Arms 3, but I either had all of those or didn't want them. They had several copies of Ico, but it was still $30.
 
There is an Ikaruga floating around in the Kent, OH Walmart. It was in the same spot for months, while I was waiting for this drop, then it was displaced by DoR2. I asked them to check behind the DoR's since it was only 1 Ikaruga, and they said "Uh, its not there"./ I scoured the bin, and it wasnt there either

Just got back from the Murfressboro, TN west side store and they had several good 14.88 games. 8 or so copies of Ico for starters, surprised the hell out of me. Also Gladius and Armed and Dangerous for the xbox. And the Tom Clancy Splinter Cell/Rainbow Six 3/Ghost Recon three pack for the xbox for less than $20. As a side note, Burnout 3 for the xbox was less than $18, for anyone who hasn't picked it up yet. Sadly no Ikaruga or Metal Slug 4&5. :( Several other good buys, but those were the best IMO.

I saw all of these at local Wal-Marts in Murfreesboro.. I also saw Driv3r, Shark Tale and Amped 2 on clearance.
 
I went to 2 different Walmarts (San Leando and Oakland) and I didnt see anything that interested me. San Leandro had some old Xbox games for $14.99 like Morrowind. It wasnt a total waste though. I found a good deal on toliet paper.
