Just letting you guys know: I checked online to see if my CC had any copies of DDRU left, and it said they were sold out. I ended up checking in-store anyway, and they had like... 5. So the online inventory isn't always right!
I went to 3 CC's today and all were swimming with Avatar and Meet The Robinsons. I took one set to EB to trade for a Mario & Sonic At the Olympics preorder which I will switch to Mario Galaxy or SSBB later (at the suggestion of the EB employee, no less!).

Best of all I was able to get all 3 CC's to accept the just expired GamePro coupon from Best Buy. I got Chocobo Tales for $11.96, a Bust-A-Move for PSP for $4.99, and 2 Meet the Robinsons for $11.98 each (just paid $16.96 for Avatar). Really, taking 2 X $16.96, or about $34 of stuff into EB for a $50 game isn't such a great deal to me, but the GamePro coupon made it palatable.
Good idea! I still have my Tony Hawk Downhill Jam [Wii] when it went on sale at Costco awhile back [still unopened] and I can just buy Avatar or Meet the Robinsons, then trade it in for a preorder Mario Galaxy or SSBB!

Question though: when CC accepted the Gampro coupons, did they take it from you? or did you just show it to them as proof?

They took 'em.
Why isn't VT3 that price for the PS3? :( weren't they released at around the same time, /cry
Yeah, I wish the PS3 one was on the sale too. My saved data from when I rented it is on the PS3.

Oh well, If they have a 360 copy tomorrow, I will still pick it up.

Virtua Tennis 3 was the real goal though - I finally found one at the last of the 3 after the guy at the first store used the web to check inventory and said if there were none showing on the site they wouldn't be at any stores in the area. So, yeah, don't bother asking them about it ;).

If only I had more coupons with me - I didn't have a 360 coupon for VT3 (which I'm keeping). Would have liked that for $12 though ;).
Sickens me that you were able to do that. I've tried using Best Buy coupons at CC twice. The first time, they would have used it if the item was the same price as at Best Buy. Since it was a clearance item, no go. The second time, it was a straight-up no.
so is this the 4th of july sale for this year?
I sure hope it isn't, this list is pretty paltry when compared to previous years.

man, couldn't find VT3 at the Dadeland CC in Miami.

picked up DDRU though. looked to be the last one too..

i saw Eragon, Bionicle Heroes, Just Cause, Tony Hawk AW, and DOAX2.

I'll second calling around and not going by instore. I called after checking (which said none around me) and scored one DDRU and VT3.

Checked both the Crabtree and Capital Blvd. CCs in Raleigh. Picked up what appeared to be the last VT3 at the Capital Blvd. one (couldn't find it at Crabtree). Noticed boatloads of DDRU at the Crabtree location.

awesome, but none of my local stores have the ones that i want in stock. so i'm screwed...

Just scored DDR and DOAX2. I picked up Virtua Tennis 3 a couple weeks ago at Target when it was $36, so I'm kinda bummed I didn't hold out for this deal. Still happy with these 2 I got though.

Just got VT3. Funny thing was, it was still in the rack marked at regular price. I took it up to the counter and told them that I heard that VT3 was on clearance. Store clerk rang it up 16.96. WOOT!

Thanks OP!

Is anybody actually finding ANY of these games correctly marked? All of the new clearance games I found yesterday were still marked at original prices. The only one marked $16.96 was Just Cause but that dropped last week or even earlier.

I wonder how long those Wii games will last once they get marked properly? They are all pretty crappy (except Ice Age 2 perhaps) but there's so many Wii owners out there with kids that will probably snap them up not knowing any better ;).

Yeah, same thing here. The ones I got were on the shelf with all the regular priced games, so I had to take them to the register to get scanned first. Clerk couldn't believe they were that cheap either.

Called the CC closest to me (St. Louis Mills Mall store) and they had VT3 & FF: CT, which was all I was looking for. Guy was nice enough to put them aside at the CS desk for me.

VT3 was $49.99, FF: CT was $29.99. Probably why they found it when they went looking for them.

I found DDRU at a CC near me. After I took it up there the
manager had to check me out), he told a stocker to go pull them all to be sent back to the warehouse.
Its been out for a few months or so.
It came out in April...less than 3 months and its on clearance for $16. That's pretty fast.

go back and get Virtua Tennis if they have it, and return that sealed copy to Target. Target has like a 90 day return policy so you should be good.

Had DOAx2 and DDRu in my hands but they just seemed to crappy to be worth buying at any price. No VT3 unfortunately.

Nice. Picked up Avatar, DDRU, DoAE2. Multiple copies of each still left. Scanned Valkarye Profile Simeria=29.99. They still have 3 copies of Disgaea 2 left.
Winston-Salem, NC CC.

To save a trip for someone, the Columbus, OH, Morse Road Circuit City is cleared out of the 360 games listed here outside of Eragon and Bionicle.

In case anyone is considering keeping some of these games, here are some Metacritic averages:

:wii:
Avatar - 56

Happy Feet - 46 (worthless to play, worthless to flip)

Ice Age 2 - 66 (I have this and it is decent - bad for $50, but OK for $17)
http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/wii/iceage2themeltdown
Meet The Robinsons - 62 (might be OK, but $17 still seems like too much ;))

Final Fantasy Chocobo Tales - 75 (I had to get it at this price!)
http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/ds/finalfantasyfableschocobotales
Magical Starsign - 69 (been cheaper at Amazon, but I recommend it)

By the way, I have a DOAX2 if anyone wants it - send me a PM. Not my kind of game to be sure ;).

IME, no. They're always marked regular price for several months after the drop, then, if they remain, they eventually get a sticker. The CC I was just at, though, NEVER changed the stickers. I found ancient games for the PSP still amrked full price. Kameo was still $50.

Anyways, picked up DDRU and VT3 for myself, and am going to flip a second VT3 and Just Cause. Thanks a lot, OP! :D

At the CC's I went to, all the stuff from the last round was marked and in a clearance bin - like Just Cause, Scurge Hive, Madden 06 for 360, etc... I imagine they will have these new ones marked and out by next week.

I was just surprised that someone else was surprised they were still marked $49.99 or whatever . That is pretty standard for the first few days of these deals and why CAG is so valuable!

I picked up Just Cause & VT3 at the Seekonk,MA CC today. I did call them yesterday to see if they had JC & they said no.

Good thing I checked myself...

I've noticed that the CC near me never has anything good on clearance...or any of the titles I see on this forum. Then again....the games selection sucks anyways. This is the one in Union Square, NYC.

Another question...has Tales of Legendia been on clearance before? I can't recall if I saw that titles on previous CC clearance threads. The CC had like 10 copies, but marked at $49.99.

No VT3 up in Willowbrook Houston but i did get avatar and meet the robinsons to trade into gamestop for the trade 2 for 1 wii game (super smash bros. melee)
