20% all general merch at Meijers on Monday July 23rd only.

If you use Meijer CC at Meijer stores you get 20% off General Merhcandise and Apparel. This is good on video game systems and electronics!

If you dont have a Meijer CC, you get 10% off your first purchase.

Just got the call today about Meijer having 20% off this monday when you use your Meijer card. Could score a PS3 for $400. Or you could open a new account and get an additional 10% off. 30% off a PS3 would be pretty nice, bringing it down to 350.

The MSRP for the Wii is $249 not $199, right? Also, 20% off $200 is $40 and 20% off $400 is $80!.

I don't see anything on there about the extra 10% for turning in your Farmer Jack customer card...I think that that's probably BS. However, the extra 10% for applying for the card is in effect at all times. Your first purchase will reflect that extra 10%.

Hope that helps clarify things a bit.
 
Hmmm cheaper than a 360!!! However no good games so somewhat of a waste at this time, but definetely tempting. Possibly resell it somewhere else.

I live near Pontiac in Waterford, where are you? I haven't found them anywhere. I haven't been searching everyday, but I still haven't seen them when I do look.
 
I've always wondered if you apply for the CC in store how much instant credit will they give you? I've asked several times in store and they wouldn't tell me because I want to be able to pay the rest of the purchase off in cash if I can't get enough credit to pay it all off at once.

You all keep forgetting you could also use this to get a great deal on an HDTV.
Also could get these with the 30% off:

Nintendo DS $130 * 30% = $39 off which makes it $91.
Same thing with a PS2.

Xbox 360 $400 * 30% = $120 off which makes it $280.

If I put in my zip code for indianapolis and then view the weekly ad i no longer see the 20% of but rather some senior discount day... is this deal only at some meijers?

It will probably happen later in the week, or next week.

That would be correct, sir. Most deals with them are set up by region so one region my have one sale while another has a different one. This is why I hate trying to find the Black Friday ad for them because of the differences of each region.

I kind of hope my Meijer doesn't have any PS3s by the time I leave work on Monday so that I wont be tempted to do this. If there is a PS3 at a Meijer within 20 miles of me, though(That's like 3-4 Meijers, iirc), then I'm screwed.

If it's like it's been in the past, you can pay any amount you want on the CC and you will still get the discount. Last time this deal came around, I got my 360. I paid $50 on my MEijer CC and paid the rest on my debit card. I still got the full discount on the 360!

I was there last week, and they had one 60GB PS3, one Xbox 360 Elite, and two Xbox 360 Premiums. Next Meijer is off of Exit 111, on Lima Rd.

I just stopped in a Meijer near me and not one PS3 was in the cabinet. I'll stop by on my way home from work tommorow and if any are available I guess I may as well just buy one. I really don't feel the necessity for one now because they are really no games out right now that I care to buy for it as all the one's that interest me are games that I can just buy for my 360, or i'm waiting for the price to drop. Still the fact is I will have to get one eventually to play Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy XII and get myself a Blu Ray player so I may as well buy it now and have another $100 still in the bank that I probably wouldn't have later.

Again... this is granted they have any in stock tommorow.

I just did it...bought a ps3.

Went to Meijer...applied for a credit card. Gives me 10% off purchase. Then told the team leader in the customer service department that I wanted to get a PS3 with the 10% in combination with the 20% off tomorrow, but didn't really want to have to come in tonight at midnight. I asked them how many they had. He checked and said only one. I then asked if I could purchase it now with the 10% and then tomorrow have the additional 20% applied? To my amazement, they said no problem. I picked up the PS3 and a copy of Motorstorm with the 10% applied. I will go back tomorrow, ask for the certain team leader, and he will give me an additional 20%.

Wow...so happy I checked the thread this morning....and Meijers people really seem to want to work with you. So, assuming everything goes ok tomorrow, I will have a PS3+Motorstorm for $422, before tax. Not too bad!

Grand Rapids area

Kendal, I am assuming that the only reason that we do have more at Meijer is because the fact that the company and headquarters were started just 5 mins away from where I live.

As for the BBs and CCs carrying them I can only imagine that we seem to get more seeing as it is a much bigger market (city size).

It would be a Michigan only thing because Farmer Jack was a chain of grocery stores that was located here in the state of Michigan and they have gone out of business recently.
 
Meijer always lets people stack deals, I bought a 2nd PS2 (slim) for $74 with tax included in 3/06! This is when the PS2 was still 149.99 or higher...They had a doorbuster for 99.99 -$5 (spend $100 get $5 off) - $5 (must have been some other coupon/bonus) -$10 (for signing up for card) and $10.50 (10% off for my credit card) = 69.50 plus tax = approx $74 (i had another item on the recipt so it isnt exact)....I may buy a PS3, I think I woudl rather have the 60 GB, than be missing the chip on the 80 GB model....hmmmm

I wanted to know because I would gladly put the whole purchase on the Meijer Card because all I would do when the bill came is pay off the full amount with money out of my checking account and only use the card when they are having special deals. I have the cash for it in my account anyways but would like to get their Mastercard to build up some credit.

I wonder when you turn in the Savings Club Card from Farmer Jack would you need to have the big credit card size card or could you use the keychain sized card that came with the bigger one?
 
This is certainly a great deal...I couldn't wait, as my local meijer only had 1 PS3 left, so I hurried over at midnight, applied (15% off for applying) for the mejier credit card, was accepted (10% off first purchase with card) and applied the 20% off that was advertised as monday only. So that's 45% (in theory) off. Everything was fine until cashier couldn't override something and there was no manager on duty, so after a lot of waiting, I get to go back tomorrow and get my brand new 60GB PS3 for less than $300 after tax. I'm excited!! Thanks OP!
