Dallas is scary - you never know what you are going to get. When they are playing to their potential they are very tough to beat. The problem is that there are too many distractions and they rarely play well. Still, they are on the verge of 10 wins in a hugely disappointing season. That's scary.

There's also a good chance the Eagles will have been eliminated before the game starts and knowing Andy Reid he might sit Westbrook and play Kolb... he will probably start the game by throwing a red flag and asking for a review of the Tampa or Chicago game (whatever knocks them out).

Damn...I missed the Favre/Rodgers debate. It will all be decided when Favre folds in the cold this Sunday., thats the main reason they didn't want him back after he said he was done.

In a tribute to the facial fuzz that was, members of the San Francisco 49ers are growing mustaches for Sunday's season finale against the Washington Redskins.

The Niners will be wearing their throwback uniforms on Sunday, and members of the team have been inspired by photos of the team's greats -- many of them sporting facial hair -- displayed at the team's facility in Santa Clara, Calif.

The offensive line initiated the effort, and quarterback Shaun Hill has joined in. "Today is Mustache Monday," Hill said of the effort, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. "It's for the throwback game. Every day we go to meetings and we go by these beautiful pictures and we admire these guys' mustaches."

According to the report, the team's facial hair gallery of greatness includes Kevin Fa.gan, Mel Phillips, Roger Craig, Ray Wersching, Keith Fahnhorst, Jerry Rice, Jimmy Johnson, the late John Ayers and Randy Cross.

Yeah, hopefully they can pull the win out this Sunday....but i'm most worried about losing Martz....i'll admit I wasn't too high on him coming here but him and Singletary seem to have a weird way of working together....might hate each other but it works somehow....if he leaves that'll be 7 OC's in 7 years....coddamn.
 
Local Dallas writer Tim Cowlishaw made a interesting point in noting that the Dallas game has been changed from the original time of 12:15 to a later start of 3:15, which will make it a tougher game on the Eagles if they already know they are eliminated. Whereas before everyone who is competing for the last spot would be playing at the same time this time move potentially gives Dallas an edge if the Eagles were to find out before the game they were already out. Then again as previously mentioned the Cowboys havent ever won their last game in the 2000's so that may not necessarily matter LOL...:drool:

Should be very interesting. I'm actually hoping the G-Men start Manning, he's a nightmare against the Vikings.

Here's hoping AP and Jackson have a repeat performance of last week's game...;)

Knowing my luck the Vikes will lose but then the Bears will turn around and lose to Houston.
 
Other than the fact my Pats may get booted from the playoffs despite being 11-5, I'm really excited for the playoffs this year. I really have no idea who might win.

Congrats to Mike Singletary, who has been passed over for years for coaching opportunities, but once given the chance has shown that he can breathe fire into other people's throwaways! Ive followed Mike's career since his early days at Baylor, watching him kick my horn frogs around, glad to have some justice being done in your favor mr. singletary!

So far the Bears are off to a good start.... Now we need the Giants to start doing their part (or AP and Jackson to make with the fumbles :) ).

Btw, the Lions commentators are really dry. Then again, I guess they don't have much to be enthusiastic about.

Today, looks like the Lions strategy is the following: run the ball with Kevin Smith for a loss or 2 yard gain. Pass to Calvin Johnson. R&R.

The only people who don't want to see the Lions go 0-16 are the ones in the Lions organization.

I know the Bears only have themselves to blame for not being in better shape this week. How huge is that Atlanta game they blew because Lovie Smith decided to short kick instead of deep kicking it.

Great, the Bears have completely blown their 10-0 lead. Way to step up with everything on the line!

Tampa Bay is really struggling against the Raiders. Which is surprising and sad.

The whistles later had nothing to do with the play, they were trying to break up the scrum that the Bills center was in. Wasn't any reason to stop the clock when the Bills ran the ball up the middle.

It was silly for Buffalo to try a run and a FG with 22 seconds on the clock and no timeouts.

Yeah I thought that was pretty clear, yet the announcers weren't undrstanding anything at all.

Almost a fight on the field in the Lions game.

McCarthy is not a good coach. These calls are horrible. Pass, pass, pass, 4th down -- pass. WTF? All of a sudden, GB has become the dEnver Broncos?

Lions get called for taunting while trying to stop a 4th down play.
 
Really controversial play in Lions game.

Grant gets "tackled," but no part of his body touches the ground (except his hand) and maybe part of his back (which means he's down).

Initially, refs ruled he was down. They conferred and gave him a TD. When Hochuli was announcing the decision to the crowd, I could hear Lions players screaming, "that's bullshit!" and a few other choice words. :lol:

The play was challenged and was overturned. :whistle2:(

Calvin Johnson is NOT Barry Sanders good.

Huge review coming up here in the Bears game. Even though I want the Bears to win honestly I think the fumble call on Slaton should be overturned. He was on the ground before the ball came out.

EDIT: Dammit, that's what I thought. What a horrible time for the Texans to win their first challenge of the year...

This is the best play-calling we have had all year. Why not give the ball to our 2 only talented players

3rd and 29 for Lions. Calvin Johnson got busted up, which is terrible for Lions hopes of pulling off a miracle. I hope he gets back in the game, he's looking pretty good today.

EDIT 2: CLASSIC!!! GB intercepts the ball! Game Over! Lions, 0-16! Un-fucking-believable. I never thought any team could lose every game.

What's unusual is a 16-0 reg. season last year, and now a 0-16 season. Damn.

I still can't believe any team could accomplish such a "feat." Over the years, I always felt the Lions could do it, but I didn't think it would actually happen.

The Panthers got fucking lucky. You have no idea how badly John Fox called that game in the 2nd half. Oh, and before Kasey kicked the GW field goal, we got a 5 yard false start penalty. Then after that, he squibbed the kickoff OUT OF BOUNDS!

Going 0-16 for Detroit isn't so bad, man. At least they've made Detroit that much more historic!

You can't pass the ball when there's no running game to set up the pass.

They haven't had a good offense all year, maybe besides the Giants, Broncos, and Bills games, and having their two starting QB's get knocked out in two straight games doesn't help the offense at all.

Jurevicious not being healthy really hurt them. That said, Lewis had nothing to do with Edwards having a bad bad case of butterfingers. When people don't fear your recievers, they have no problem sticking eight in the box and punishing the QB. You can't play action pass when people don't think your recievers are going to catch the ball.
