Should've just matched Amazon... I would've made it a priority to order off them [Best Buy], then.

They only extended it due to people flocking to Amazon instead. Why they didn't just make it 30% off as well is beyond me.

SW battlefront and both gears games have dropped in price at Amazon since originally listed. My preorder has not been updated yet to reflect it so keep an eye on the titles you've preordered in case we need to manually get them adjusted for the pre order price guarantee

Always take screenshots too just in case.

It's all YMMV. Shipping times depend on how close you are to a shipping center. Most stuff ships out from Ontario AFAIK. But even like that I've gotten stuff before the release date over here in Vancouver. On the flip side I've had a few parcels ship out a week after a release date, even though their site clearly flipped the status to "In Stock - ships within 24 hours" on release date. Although I think that'd be due to stock being transferred to a more local shipping center.

However it goes, Amazon always sends you shipping emails when stuff goes out, with tracking information and expected delivery dates. So you'll know what's happening.
Thanks. I'm in the GTA, so hopefully it won't be too bad. BB is hit and miss for me. I've had games the day before through the day after launch typically, although my recent pre-order of LEGO Jurassic (Vita) didn't arrive until Monday, presumably because of the Friday launch. I ended up getting it in store at EB as I wanted to play it straight away.

There is a post for psn cards in the forum.

Here is the link:

https://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/345172-50-psn-credit-for-3499-canadian-accounts-only-boxeddealcom/

Looks like it is still active.
AFAIK, that is $34.99 US. So by the time you convert, it'll work out to about $45, give or take. I think Costco routinely sells $50 cards for $48, so not much difference. :whistle2:(

I see $79.89 still for Battlefront...

I sent Amazon links to Best Buy for SAO LS and Project X Zone 2. They're still the same price.
Good idea, I just did the same.

I also told them Bestbuy and EB have Rare Replay for $30. But I think that price is actually cheaper than it's supposed to be, most US sources are asking $30USD for it.

I pre-ordered 7 games from Amazon in one cart and Amazon broke the order up into two orders, 4 games and 3 games. I now want to cancel 2 games but they are both in the order of 4 games. Will that bring down that order to 2 games and change the 30% discount?

I don't think they broke up your order, they've never ever done that to me before. There's no point with how their system manages things. On your order history they kinda group items by shipping date. So perhaps half your items have tentative dates of 31-Dec-2015 and the others are 31-Dec-2016. So your order looks kinda broken up? Also if you placed 7 different orders that shipped at the same time, Amazon would group all your orders into one package while leaving all the orders as separate items in your order history.

Although, if they did break up your order. Contact customer service and tell them to put your order back the way you fuck ordered it.

The two orders have different order numbers, so I'm not really sure if it's truly broken up or not. As for how they were divided, I too thought it was divided by release date but that's not the case. There are both games with hard 2015 dates and games with 2016 or beyond tdb dates in each order. I suppose I'll have to give them a call.

That is wacked dude.
I have never had that before, contact Amazon chat asap. Those guys are top notch...
While you at it, you can complain and ask them to throw in expedite shipping for free as compensation. They will do it.

Just to point out, there's a CE for Dragon Quest Heroes:

https://store.na.square-enix.com/product/285007/dragon-quest-heroes-the-world-tree-s-woe-and-the-blight-below-slime-collectors-edition-ps4

It's $100USD. You may not think that's a deal worthy of posting on CAG. But, shipping was *only* $12 to Canada. The last Square-Enix store CE I looked at having shipped to Canada, they wanted $35 for shipping. So yay, cheaper. (it's still like $140CAD total though....)

I've never done this before, so I have no idea how long it takes for them to adjust the prices. They're still missing some games I want to pre-order.

Amazon has yet to match the prices on the games I sent them links to.
Enough people needs to send the links to them to get

on their radar most likely.

"Found a lower price? Let us know. Although we can't match every price reported, we'll use your feedback to ensure that our prices remain competitive."

So, guys, I pre-ordered Batman as part of this deal using the free shipping option. Game came out yesterday, and my copy has still not shipped.

Anybody else have this problem? Even with free shipping in the past, Amazon's ship date has been on day of release, and usually only took 1 day to arrive (I'm in Toronto, they ship from Mississauga I assume)

What's the point of pre-ordering if it won't even ship the day after it's released? Apart from, in this case, saving money

what else is in your order? in your order, does it show another game in the same shipment?

If it hasn't shipped and you're impatient. Walk into Walmart, buy game, play game, when Amazon copy arrives return it to Walmart.

Amazon changed the price for Project x Zone 2 to $49.99 as well. Still hasn't updated my order though. I guess I'll call customer support again in the morning.

Got two other games (coming out later in the year) in the order, to qualify for the 30% off.

It does say "ship when all items are ready" but the delivery estimate is for July 2nd to July 8th 2015 for Batman, which doesn't agree with that statement. It's just been stuck on "Preparing for shipment" for 3 days.

Yeah totally! I'm between the "well it will ship any minute now so I'll wait" and "dammit I wanted to play this on the weekend" phase.

and pondering "what's the meaning of lif...errr...of pre-ordering" anymore. could just walk in to a store and get it, defeats the point of pre-ordering.

Anyway, thanks guys.

It does say July though...that's how Amazon handles free shipment, they will group shipment when couple of games are close in release dates.

Anyone looking to get Super Mario Maker may want to get it from Bestbuy, they have some preorder bonus pins:

http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/category/e3-nintendo/nintendo-offer.aspx?icmp=E32015_nintendo_mariomaker_en

Buying 2 games from them will cost you an extra $12-$15 over Amazon though. Also IMO Super Mario Maker looks like dogshit. It may be decent you're into romhack level creation, but virtually every level that'll be offered will be crap and you spend hours sifting through crap to find decent stuff. But that's just my opinion.
My initial opinion has already been proven wrong, Mario Maker will come with a 100 level offline game. So yeah, there may be some decent stuff there with no need to touch the main purpose of the game.

Heads up... Battlefront (PS4) is down in price... my preorder hasn't updated yet though.

Price: CDN$ 64.96 from $79.89

Edit: Preorder updated about 12 hours after I got in touch with Amazon Chat Support.

My game auto adjusted today as amazon pre-order guarantee should.

Amazon's system is very good, no real need in contacting/monitoring price drops, let the system do it itself.

Because if they manually adjust for you, i believe it will be firm from then on.

So for example, if the game goes down further to 59.99 later on, unless you contact them manually, your order price will not change.

If you leave it for the system to adjust the price, you dont have to worry if there is a further price drop.

Most of mine dropped as expected, but SAO (PS4), Fire Emblem and Nier didn't drop. I'll give it another couple days cause there's no rush, then I'll contact them, if I need to.
