i was disappointed with the ending after i got my spoilers from my source but overall a great season. so how does jack get out of the predictiment

Better to wait till January and have a whole season running straight through than to have a broken up season like Lost. It sucks, but totally worth it....Holy fucking shit...

I was disappointed that he didn't at first but the way it went down was much better. And frankly, I think Henderson got off way too easy. Jack should have shot him point blank between the eyes.
 
My girlfriend made a good point during the Logan/Martha confrontation.. Where was
Wayne? It was his brother's funeral. I thought the microdot was lame. It would've been the greatest revenge for Wayne to be hiding somewhere in the factory to record it.

And I called it from the second he said Kim was on the phone. I liked the very ending, but they explained it.. I wish it would've been something that only fans would've gotten.. like the guy stepped forward, said "Mr. Bauer.." and Jack would say "Kill me.. just.. kill me.." and then the mysterious figure said "Did you think we would forget?".. a lot of people would've knew who it was, but still, it was a good ending.

Shanghai, here we come!
 
It'll be interesting to see where the show goes from here. It was a great season, I just hated to see it end knowing that it'll be 7+ months until the next day.
 
I hate the chinese story line but they couldn't ignore it. I'm thinking it will be resolved in the first 4 hours that plays almost like a mini movie

It wasn't President Palmer's funeral, Logan was just saying words before they loaded the casket on the plane.
As for Wayne, he's in hiding, remember? After getting the recording Jack handed off Wayne to Buchanon to hide him out until it all blew over, that's why they couldn't locate him when they wanted him there for David's send-off.

Holy crap, I figured the architects of the whole nerve gas plan had him, I had no idea it was the Chinese until they stepped forward. Anyone else think when he said "Kim is on the phone for you" That she had been kidnapped YET AGAIN :rofl:
 
Mark my words, President Heller next season. Or, at the very least, Vice President. That's the only reason he didn't die in the car crash.

I did NOT see that ending coming. Best season of 24 yet. Its going to almost kill me waiting until next year to see what is going to happen. Damn you Keither.

Honestly I didn't see it coming namely since there had been little in the way of hints leading up to tonight in regards to what happened. Maybe if I rewatch the season then I might catch a few things that would of given it away but what do I know. ;)

It was a decent ending but come on, it had obvious written all over it.

As soon as they came in to save the president and the camera zoomed in on him putting the phone and pen in his pocket it had obvious written all over it.

Jack getting nabbed was pretty obvious too. Come on, why would Kim all of a sudden be calling out of nowhere and why would the call be inside a building where noone can see and not forwarded to his cell phone like they do with every other call on the show. Then as soon as he is grabbed you know its the chinese because who the hell else could it be?

Jack now has 3 seperate groups after him. The Chinese, the Germans, and whoever Logan was working for. Its no wonder the chinese guy said he was too valuable to kill.

See but that's what made it obvious is how, despite being a major plot point last season, the Chinese weren't mentioned or dealt with at all this season.

I remember him using the German guy earlier in the season to catch the one spy or something to that effect.
 
fuck, I'm pissed. The ending was too good to want to wait for a Season 6.

Jack is a dumbass for thinking Kim was actually on the phone... I knew it was a setup, but wasn't sure where they were gonna go with it.

Oh, and Jack snapping Bierko's neck with his legs was extremely badass.

//edit: Just checked my phone book, that's the number to the phone on the set of 24.. the same number as Pierce's cell phone (Look at the number that pops up when Martha calls Pierce's phone), the same number Jack gives the kid that gets the nuclear football in season 4
 
Just saw it last night....WOW

I really do hope it continues right where it left off and not do what they did in
Season 2 when President Palmer gets the poison handshake and it skips a couple years into Season 3.
