He seems a lot more Presidential this season. He's not waffling. He's telling people to do what he wants them to do, and he doesn't care what they think. He fits in his role way better, now.

For the people asking about "what happened to him/her, this thing," ends are left untied on 24 all the time. You must learn to accept it. I only wonder when "the chick" will return.

Yeah, I can see that. But he's a dumbasshole. Everyone telling him push back the summit, something big and bad gonna happen. He says "no fuck it". He should have been shot then with his VP telling him " see, you should pushed the summit back".

Yeah. I wouldn't mind if Zombie Palmer came and ate his face. How is Mike Novak still around? That's confusing to me, a bit. Wasn't he involved in the death of our beloved Doctor Faragamo?

I hope Mandy makes a return. The last thing I remember about her was when she was holding Tony hostage and Curtis came from behind and KO'ed her. LOL

Anybody misses that guy Chappelle? That guy was an asshole on that show but sometimes I wish that guy was around.

Her blondiness better come in handy this season. I was glad she left after season 3 'cause she was overstaying her welcome, I thought.

I stand corrected. But anyways, I don't like to watch the previews anymore... I've always felt that FOX always gives away too much info for the next show.

I also agree with many of you about the Logan-Nixon resemblance.. Creepy, in my opinion.

Yeah it is kind of creepy. I think its intentional though. First off there's the fact that they even look a little similar. Then there's the mannerisms that Logan does. Like when he walked on stage he did this stiff hand out wave that seemed like a Nixon thing. I dunno its wierd and its one of those fun things to look at in the episodes.
 
I don't know if it was just me, but was that guy at the end of the episode the one with the yellow tie or was that Paul Raines?

They had the episode from last season where you find out he had been CFO of the building that the terrorists were staging out of and my eyes were probably just playing tricks on me.
 
I am not reading the replies, but i've got a few things to mention..

The second he said he had a contact in CTU, I said Spencer. Too predictable.

I noticed that the back of that doctor's head looked like the guy Spencer let in. I thought maybe the guy was playing a double role or something and they didn't want to show his face. I have a bad feeling Tony's dead, and if he's not, it makes no sense: these guys wanted ALL of them dead - Chloe, Michelle, Tony and Palmer. Two of the four are dead, and the guy killed the doctor. He could've offed Tony. I'm going to be so pissed if Tony's dead.

Jack jamming the scissors into dude's neck was AWESOME.

Jack doing a voiceover for a Verizon Wireless commercial was funny, considering they went out of their way to show that he was using a Sprint phone to take the pictures of the terrorists in episode 3.

I don't care for Audrey/Jack/Diane, or whatever her name is.

There's no BIG cliffhangers like there were in season 4. Air Force One was a HUGE cliffhanger in season 4. Now? "I'll have to take him out myself!".. not a big deal.

But overall, i'm still loving this season.
 
yea but like the guy in episode one said when Jack killed him, the plan was just to make them suspicious of Jack and the primary objective was not Chloe, Erin, or Tony, but Palmer.

I think I just ruined the best part (for now at least) of season 5 for myself when I saw that pic and went to look for when she is coming back. :cry:

Anyway, they're tossing around moles in the show too much, although having Walt be a mole makes an interesting plot.
 
I was king of hoping to see some torture last night. Either the doctor/assasain guy that jack stabbed, or the ctu guy that did it with chloe.

I still think Spencer trying to play them; I seriously doubt he actually thought he was working for the President (thats why the hobbit is there).

Well, if you watch the credits she is listed as a regular character, not a guest star, so even if she isn't around the president, she'll probably still be on the show somehow.

I wonder how the dynamic between buchanan/jack and samwise is going to end up. Samwise is just looking for trouble....good episode tonight, i thought it was a little slower then the past couple, but still very good.
 
Back to being slow tonight. I thought maybe Kim would show up tonight, but sounds like they're setting up for next week. As soon as Mike Novak said "You better get down here", I knew Cummings snuffed himself. Not sure what to think of the subplot with Lynn's stoner sister. Is it me or does Edgar have the hots for Chloe?

Tonight's episode was way too predictable. The bike shop guy dying, Walt's suicide, the girl shooting the guy. C'mon, that's such a flashback to season 3.

There will (or should) be a bike shop connection. After Lynn got the shit kicked out of him, all that you could hear was the sound of a motorcycle.

I don't like how Audrey called Kim off camera. I hope she shows up next week, though after watching the preview, I doubt it. Next week's should be very interesting.
 
good, not great episode, but it is a filler one...samwise getting his ass kicked was great, how the fuck is he going to explain that one. Maybe this will allow for a serious power struggle with buchannon, as it was samwise that said make the deal and then left. They sort of hinted at china, with audrey telling jack he will be exposed.
 
Caught the last 3 episodes. I can't believe I've waited this long to watch this show. Gonna have to track down the DVDs and catch up. That Chloe chick is damn annoying on camera though. Has she had the same damn look on her face the whole series?

I was reading a episode preview description for 24, and it didnt mention Kim until around the 11th-12th episode. Tony is also suppose to wake up around then also.

Well, that's good news. I was afraid she would cancel out on the season if she hadn't shown up by now. Good news for Tony. He needs to kick some serious ass to get back for Michelle's death. By the way, from the preview, next week's episode kinda looks shitty and more of a plot transition if anything for this season.
 
they need to do something quick because this season has paled in comparison to the last one and is getting stale quick. Last season I didn't do anything but watch the show, but this season I don't really care if I am doing something else while watching.
