25% one item Borders/Waldenbooks Exp 5/30/05

Awesome, thanks Xevious!

btw, in the exclusions it mentions "comics": that doesn't include TPBs does it? I was planning to use the coupon on manga in particular.

Anyway, thanks!

Just the monthlies, anything in a trade format is ok.

Sweet, I'm gonna have to stop at a Borders sometime and see if I can get something good with this. Thanks Xevious.
Do DVDs count as electronics?
Nope. CDs and DVDs should be 25% off as well.
Wait, so essentially, I could get a $100 boxset for...$75?

Sweet.
Yep. Problem is, Borders prices are almost always higher than you'd find at a Best Buy or a Circuit City, meaning that, with the discount, they usually end up being only a somewhat cheaper (if not the same) price as at other stores. Still, if you really want a certain DVD, it could be a good way to save a few bucks, and you might get lucky and the before dicscount price will be pretty close to the price at other stores.

I always thought that Borders has a better selection of DVDs then Best Buy and Circuit City-- especially if you are looking for something obscure.

Borders can be a GREAT source for music cheaper than bestbuy etc. Their saver cds are usually 4+ bucks below BestBuy's/Circuit City's and the 25% off makes it sweeter. It's too bad I don't have any damn money.

Agreed, that goes double for Criterion collection titles as well, oh and thanks again for the coupon :D Now I don't have to pay an arma and a leg for gungrave Vol. 6

They do have a better selection, but I'm pretty sure it can all be found cheaper online. Still a great place to go if you want to buy more obscure stuff B&M, though.
I wonder if comics include graphic novels or manga? If not, I am going to Waldenbooks tomorrow.
Take a look at post #4 and your answer you shall find.

That's weird, I put manga in the find box in IE and it didn't show. Thanks for pointing that out though.

I could have used this a week or so ago. There was another book I was interested in so I may use this to go and pick it up.

Thanks Xevious!

Allrighty, I got some manga...

Tenjho Tenge 1 and 2
Ranma 1/2 5 and 8

The lady also gave me another coupon for $5 off purchase over $30 (wasn't supposed to combine it with the 25% off coupon but she did it for me anyway.)

Total $26.37

Not bad at all.
