3 BK Games Coming to the Xbox/Xbox 360 Sale Entended (New Deal: All 3 for $11)

I was disappointed after not being able to get a Wii, so I stopped by BK at about 9:30 this morning.

The first Burger King tried to tell me they couldn't sell them until tomorrow, to which I responded by pointing to their giant signs all over the store that have the date 11.19.06. Then they lied some more and said "Aaahh, well we don't even have them in yet, so we can't sell them."

The second store didn't even know what I was talking about at first. I again pointed to the signs.

The third Burger King finally sold me all three of them with a value meal breakfast. :)

i am overall surprized at how high of production these games have. they are actually pretty good.

sneak king is by far the best in fun. just hilarious.

big bumpin is fun and looks good, but i found it a little confusing at what was goin on.

pocket bike racer is pretty fun as well, but i have never been into racers too much.

mine the lasy at manager was a bitch. She refused to sell me one unless i bought one meal each. On monday ill try the other BK, and if they say no too, on my trip to oregon for thanksgiving ill stop for BK once and since im goin with three people i'll have each person get a meal and the game for me.

Well the developer, Blitz Games, has develope games like Pac-Man World 3 and Bad Boys: Miami Takedown. So it is not like they got some nobody to make this game.

I have only had the chance to play SK, and it is a lot more fun than I expected (Mostly in just how wrong it is, I love the line about "The King doesn't get dizzy - he gets freaky!")

What is probably the best part is the commentary I am providing as I play; for example, whilst following a woman for a LONG time: "Shhhh...it's okay, honey. I'm right behind you, ready with my hot salty beef!"

Physical age: 33
Emotionally/ maturity: 13

God, I love being a guy!

I'm gonna buy Sneak King for the hell of it. If it stars the King then it well worth the money, even if it was $60.

Picked up all three today at my BK. (Bought 2 value meals, decided to pick up lunch for me and my mom while I was at it)

Sneak King is awesome, just because it is very very wrong. I love how when you go into first person mode, it shows the two holes of the plastic face and the sound is a very deep heavy breathing. Kinda like you're contemplating either serving them food or kidnapping them for raep.

Pocketbike is actually pretty good. The course design is cool and the Boost bar being the same as your weapons is an intriguing idea.

Havent played Bumpin yet.

I'm going to buy this tommorrow.
i feel like tradin' these in at eb... just to see what i'd get
25 cents.

Had no problem picking up all three with one value meal yesterday on the 18th. Employees did not care and sold without hesitation. I would just try another BK if the first one gives you problems.
$0.01 for each of them
You know in a year Gamestop will be selling them for $45 like the Zelda Bonus disks.

man, sneak king sucks. The control for some reason is backwards, and its just repetitive as hell. Very disappointed even for only 4 bucks. Still going to buy the other two though
sowhat was your method when ordering it? just asked to buy a $3.99 video game? or referring to it by the name of the game?
I asked if they had the xbox games (they had signs everywhere) said yes, asked for a whopper and all 3, 17.02.

Someone asked how they play on xbox, ill try in a little since my 360 is still awaiting its coffin, and a bit tied up.

I went to two BKs today the first one said tomorrow and I said since I don't like BK that much I don't want any food. The 2nd one had the games am I bought Big Bumpin. It is very fun and I would recomend it to any one for $4. I'm going to buy the other two later this week.

I picked up all 3 today, and I didn't even have to buy any of the crappy food. I just walked in and asked for the games. The lady behind the counter didn't know how to ring them up and just sold them to me without having to get a value meal. Woo-hoo!

I've played Sneak King the most so far. Pocketbike Racer and Big Bumpin' were fun in 2-player with my wife this afternoon. They are not the best games ever, but they are fun diversions. For $4 a pop you can't go wrong.
Can't wait to get them. Am I alone in the thought that these will be bigger then anyone thought and BK's will sell out. Then they will be on ebay going for $40 a piece.
I was sorta close in my statement. All three are going for about $25-40 after shipping, and single games are going for about $10.

I have yet to get a chance to get any of them. I really don't want to eat shitty food to get them. So I hope they'll let me just buy them.

Do you have to get a "value meal" or can you just get anything and ask for a game with it; does it vary by store? I like BK onion rings, but I don't really care for much else on the menu.

I wanna try and pick up Sneak King tomorrow.

Varies by store. It really depends on if you get a manager and if that manager is a dick.

I had to go to two stores to get all the games. The first allowed me to buy the games alone, but the manager said they only had the "Sneak Peak" one.   Off to the next store, where I had to buy a value meal, but I could buy as many games as I wanted.
Has anyone tried playing these on the original Xbox?
I have, and I'm disappointed, but probably not for the reason you think.

I like the games. For the price, you can't beat them and they aren't bad really. Neither Big Bumpin' nor Pocket Bike Racer support Xbox Live multiplayer for the Original Xbox, only local multiplayer for up to 4. I feel a bit mislead.

As a consolation, the Xbox version of Sneak King does have controller options for sensitivity, vertical look inversion, and rumble, but the missions don't feel as rewarding without the motivation of acheivements.

Achievements and online multiplayer add a lot of value to these games. They're probably still worth the $4 each as they are on the Xbox, but they're that much better, not to mention the improved graphics, on 360.

To continue my story from yesterday:

Today I go into BK and order up a #4 and some games; the response I got from the counter was "Que?"

No glitter, no magazine rack.

I just tried buying one of the games at a local Burger King, and they said they were selling them yet. I pointed out all of the banners, window signs and the paper bags that said that they were available on the 19th, and the hillbilly behind the counter pulled the ol' "deer caught in headlights" routine, asked the manager in the back, and told me that they can't sell them yet.

Rather than argue, I walked out and went to another local Burger King and got Pocketbike Racer.

To continue my little BK adventure story...

Went back TODAY and they still were not selling them
but after haranguing them about my previous attempts
to purchase them and the fact they had up signage everywhere
showing yesterdays date they were unable to do so as it wasn't
downloaded into their registers. So then the one manager asked
another and said "Sure give me $4.24 in cash for each game in
addition to your value meal purchase and you can have them." so
to be sure I heard her correctly I asked if the deal was I give you
cash for an item you will not ring up as I purchase then I could have
it, for which she replied yes. Well I carry zero cash on me, never
had so I left pissed off as this was my 3rd trip to my BK which is
about 10 minutes away (the next closest is 16miles away). I
decided to call BK's corporate office and let them know of what's
going on so if you're getting the run around call them on it at
1.305.378.3535 (Burger King Corporate Office Customer Service).

Just my two cents, plus I had to vent. - Thanks
you can have one.

I went around town today and none of the four BKs I stopped at had any idea what I was talking about. One of them did have the whole thing advertised on the bag, but when I asked them about it they seemed as oblivious as all the other places.

Meh, maybe I'll try again later this week.
Pocketracer is pretty boring.

I knew I shoulda got Sneak King.
I actually think Sneak King is the worst of the three.

Big Bumpin' is definitely the most fun and feels like a bunch of mini-games from Fuzion Frenzy. Played some online last night and a fun time was had by all.

Pocketbike Racer is decent and has a good number of races and online play. Nothing spectacular, but serviceable for $4.

Sneak King had the most potential, but it falls flat. It's really very limited and it takes real dedication to play it for more than a few missions. (Plus, this is the hardest one to get nerd points in.)

I see a lot of people bashing BK's food in this thread. Which is fine, I don't really blame them. But can anyone here honestly say they would eat at McDonalds and not BK? If so, that's what really floors me...

got all three yesterday near my house, but had to buy a meal. maybe it's the fact that they have games at BK or somethin', but they were dumbfounded to know they had some... well, whatev, i'll just play 'em tonight

i'd pay w/e they charge to get the games and NOT eat that crap at mcdonalds... the most disgusting aspect of fast food is when you know how they make it

Just got all 3, no problem, with one BK stacker combo!

Now I just have to eat...good thing I can see the TV from the bathroom :)

When I went to my local BK that charged me $5.99 if I wanted to purchase the games outright.

I picked up 2 for $5.99 and one for $3.99 with a value meal.

I didn't want to argue with them about it and they couldn't even figure how to ring up the games at $5.99.

Another promotion that's not being utilized correctly.

Kevin

Just did 3 quick plays

Sneak King: Not bad, just wish the levels were a little bigger and more interactive. And the controls do feel backwards.

Pocket Bike: Not a fan. Don't like how the tracks aren't contained, and you can fly way the hell off the course

Big Bumpin': Its bumper cars, lol.

Also couldn't find any live games going. Oh well.

Got all three with one combo (Well, technically two, my mom ordered one after ordering the games with my combo), no problem. And to my delight, my food was actually halfway fresh-- This particular BK tends to have the worst food ever, onion rings taste like old, unchanged oil, and whatnot, but it wasn't so bad this time.

Jackass at my BK said I could get only one game with my value meal. Got Big Bumpin and will try to get the two others at another BK...UGH, fast food again.
