360 Orange Box for $19.99 at Target (ymmv)

Unless you intend to PLAY it again, this would be a waste of money. Looking at games on a shelf for no other reason than being able to see it on a shelf, is dumb. No offense meant, but really. Don't buy it unless you feel compelled to actually play it.

Earlier that day the link showed a price of $19.99 and said the game was available "in stores only." Target has since taken that information of their website so now the link doesn't show a price anymore.
 
My Target (Middletown, NJ) has them listed at 19.99 as the new regular price, not a sale or clearance. Looked like they just restocked with a full rack of 7 copies and mine rang up 19.99 without any discount/clearance indicated on the receipt. I assume this means other Target stores are doing the same.
 
I just went to the target in Troy, MI and they still had it set at 29.99. I'm going to try the Warren store tomorrow.
 
I'll check the price in store on Monday when I do my regular clearance run. Hopefully it's down to $19.99 at most Targets tomorrow.
 
I don't know about you guys but my Hollywood Video is getting rid of a lot of games right now, they have this one listed at 24.99 with 25% off, and there are about 8 copies there.

Used Copy.

And you have to watch because some of the boxes are the BS rental boxes with the printed instructions on the back
 
Like gamer1233 said, Amazon has it for $19.99 this time around. For those that ordered it for $21.99, shoot Amazon customer service an e-mail stating the price dropped since the time you placed your order. They'll credit your card for the price difference.

Amazon dropped their price protection a couple of months ago.

wow $19 at Sams? I should really hop on that.. They will have this game for $20 at Circuit city as well.. I was planning on getting it over there but if they already have a deal like this i should get it now
 
Wow, thanks again for the great find, OP. I picked up a copy for $20 at Target, and the price was clearly displayed as 19.99.

It appears that this is starting to become a universal price drop.
 
Just confirmed that the Target at Deer Valley/Phoenix has it for $20.

It took some looking to find it as it was squirreled away behind some other stuff on an endcap. The marked price was $29, but it rang up $19 without incident.

They had 3 or 4 left.

Everyone who doesn't own this, absolutely needs to buy this.

I finished Portal last night, and I still stand by my statement. Gave Team Fortress 2 a whirl as well. It had some fun online play, and I rarely play shooters online. Orange Box is definitely one of the best games ever made. It was a crazy deal at $60, and at $20, it's insane.

I assume 8.75% is your tax rate, but what is the 10% discount, and where are you buying it? Please tell me you aren't signing up for a Target card and wasting the 10% discount from it on this, lol.
 
thanks for the heads up. i went to circuit city but it was 29.99. so i js had them PM target. lady said target didnt have it in stock but would still give it to me. i had a $10 gift card from circuit city so my total came out to be $11 and some change. not bad!
