360 & PS3 Easter Savings at Amazon - Don't get too excited

I entirely forgot it was Easter. Nor did I ever care about Easter once I stopped receiving candy, and cards filled with money.

Man, I need to pick up MLB Front Office Manager, but 25 is still too steep for me. Having worked on the game, I just want a copy of it. I'll wait for it to get bargain binned in a few months.

Oh, avoid NPPL Paintball, its really awful. I found myself buying Greg Hastings for the first Xbox. A much better paintball game.

Thanks CheapyD!

Can anyone actually recommend the Civ:Rev game? I played the PC series a great deal back in the day, but haven't seen anything really strong one way or the other on the console version...particularly for $30.
Oh bugger Crash of the Titans is out of stock...ah just $25 for another Crash title just as likely to be horrific. What a sale!
You can order at the price now and they'll ship it when they get more. I'm kind of wondering if I should pick up a copy. The demo was alright.

I love it, was just playing it some more yesterday in fact. It's a little streamlined from the PC versions, but still just as much fun imo. Works very well on the console.

wtf why is the shaun white $20 cheaper on 360...thats some BS...i would have bought it for $20 for ps3.

and why no crash for the ps3? thats where it originated...

this is the worst easter ever :p
and why no crash for the ps3? thats where it originated...
Crash was originally developed by Naughty Dog, a company comfortable with the PS family. That's why you don't see their Jak & Uncharted series on Xbox. Now Crash is made by a completely different company that has a different target platform.

Not bad for NHL2k9 -- people prefer EA's hockey, but this is a more arcadey take, which is interesting because the 2k hockey games used to be sim-like.

I bought it on release day for full price and love it as well. It seems they designed this game from the beginning as a console title instead of just an afterthought. If you like Civilization games this one will not disappoint you. Well it is a bit more streamlined, it still felt very close to the original PC title.
Bioshock PS3 is a buy for me.

$30 for easy trophies and 1K points on Goozex? Hell yeah!

Hell yeah, I am getting bioshock ps3, great game.

Eh, I picked up Crash for my kids. Thinking about Shawn White, but the reviews weren't great and I keep thinking Target will clear their exclusive versions out eventually

Still a few days away -- so maybe they add stuff -- her's hoping!

The life of Crash (and Spyro) is rather humorous as Sony bought both Insomniac and Naughty Dog, but Vivendi Universal (now under Activision) owned the characters and publishing rights. This is why Jak and Ratchet & Clank were created.

Activision (and previously Vivendi) is all about multi-platform, so I have no clue why the new Crash games haven't moved over there. I imagine they figure those who'd want to play them would just get the PS2 versions.
