I'm actually kind of digging Zombie Incident.  Makes me think I am playing a new NES game.  Love the 3D and music, and the gameplay is simplistic but oddly addicting.  I'd recommend it for it's current price of $1.99.

EU got a sale today on some good stuff. Ill buy Out-Run for msrp no problem but im taking advantage of the ones I was waiting to go on sale. Start praying with me these arrive for us on Thursday.

Also way interested what they might price both Phoenix Wright games. Plus we have the WayForward stuff to look forward to. Starting to look good cagbros!

3D Altered Beast (Sega, €2.49 / £2.24 until 19th March, normally €4.99 / £4.49)

You realize it's very unlikely we'll get any of these deals in the US right ? We seldom do.

Have we ever got any of the Sega 3D Classics on sale? If this is a promotion to go along with Outrun 3D, I can see us getting them as well, but who knows? I'll grab a few if they do.

Question.... I'm new to the 3DS scene. How do the cross buys work? Do they email you a code for the other system? I jumped on Mario VS Donkey for the 3DS. Purchased last night & havnt received a code yet ... Hhhmmmm

Nice! Thanks!

I'm around stage 80. I've been replaying all beaten stages to get S rankings and catch all the Pokemon until moving on to the next stages.
I'm still playing. I actually got my first street pass in it yesterday on my drive home from work.

I am at Mega Galie in the main missions, have collected all the pokemon up to this point, mew, kyogre, and all the rotoms from the daily.

The expert stages are kind of annoying. I am up to stage 11 having captured 1-10 so far.

At some point I will still have to go back and do the S Rankings for all the older missions.

Hot diggity damn!

We probably will. It's just whether it's this week (like how some recent sales have carried over) or six months down the road. Hopefully it's this week since I'd buy Phoenix Wright Trilogy and some of the 3D SEGA games.

I'd never really heard of Space Harrier till a couple months ago, and I wound up watching an entire playthrough on YouTube. It's like visual crack, and I've been waiting for a sale ever since.

WOW, never heard of this classic uh? SH was one of my favorites in the Arcades back in the day. Playing the HUGE sit down motion cabinet was quite the experience. The 3DS version is top notch, and I actually paid full price for it, as it was one of those games that I knew I had to have in 3D. Sega deserved the money for going above and beyond.

"N" should look at 3D classics done right, as their lineup of games was a joke, and most of them weren't worth playing even for "free", and that's pretty bad.

The Kid Icarus one was decently done but the team that's done these SEGA ones has really treated them well and put a lot of work into them.

SEGA put way more effort into their 3D updates than Nintendo ever bothered to. I remember a couple of the interviews they made with the dev team to see what went into making the games. For After Burner II they recorded the the sounds from the arcade cabinet to make it feel more authentic and for Sonic the Hedgehog they were having trouble porting the game without it lagging so they made a stereoscopic 3D capable SEGA Genesis that ran on the 3DS and ported Sonic to that instead.

I've read most of those SEGA interviews, and I wonder how they are even making money on these 3D games. They are doing tons of work to deliver a "true" original experience and then some. I guess they figure, "If we are going to do this, let's do it right".

"N" should take notes. All I heard from them was how their 3D classics cost to much to make, and didn't sale well. So they didn't see the need to continue. Well maybe if they had put forth minimal effort, and released any game that was of the slightest interest to a fan, and they may have sold better. Who would want a Punch-Out in 3D? Urban Champion was the best they could come up with, what a joke. LOL

I'm pretty sure that they would have gotten more than a few sales if they had gone through with that 3D Classics: Super Mario World that they teased way back.

Here are the new deals for today:

AeternoBlade - $4.99 - 67% Off - Ends 3/27

Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl - $29.99 - 25% Off - Permanent Price Drop

Poptropica: Forgotten Islands - $19.99 - 33% Off - Permanent Price Drop

Any recommendations for AeternoBlade? I have a bunch of eShop credit burning a hole in my 3DS, and a lot of the games I want to go on sale (Attack of the Friday Monsters, Phoenix Wright, Crimson Shroud, Liberation Maiden, Yumi's Odd Odyssey) have either been on sale lately or seem to not want to go on sale.

Yeah Urban Champion was ridiculous. Of course that wasn't going to sell. Super Mario Bros 3D? I'm pretty sure that would sell tons.

It's like they where testing the waters with the worst possible games. I loved Excite bike back in the day, and for free it was great, but no way I would pay more than .99 for that. I would kill for some SNES games in 3D. Now that they have a device that can actually display the 3D properly, I would love to see more games get released, but "N" is so deep in their own ***, they will never see the light. I'm glad a company like SEGA who has a very rich back catalog can show others how it's done. I'm hoping that sale makes it here, as I would love to grab a few more 3D titles.

Played the demo and while it was a little cumbersome at first, it was pretty fun.

I picked it up, love these type of games. I have Soul of Darkness also which I enjoyed. Definitely need more of these types of gothic action games to fill that niche. Speaking of which, check this out.

I so want this, looks great.

Etrian Odyssey Untold is something I have had my eye on for awhile. Has anyone played it? I hear it's the best entry point for the series and have thought about getting into the Etrian games recently.

I hope we get some good sales this week though. Anything that isn't some cheap movie tie-in or a game with the words Color and Zen in the title.

I haven't played the full version of EOU, but I did play the demo and found it pretty satisfying. I ended up choosing EOIV over EOU, but next Atlus sale (which hopefully is coming up again soon) I am gonna pick up Untold. It may be the best time to get it too since Untold 2 was just announced to be coming over this way. Definitely give the demo a try and see how you feel.

The EO games are great, but they're not for everyone. Give the demos for IV and U a try first. And wait for the next time it goes on sale for $15~ish.

I only have $1 and change in my eshop. Wanna get MSF2 which will probably be $2. If I add money through credit card, they'll figure out my address and start charging me tax again wouldn't they? Or will the system not notice? Right now they think I live in Beverly Hills.

Yeah, we got the same deal mostly. The pheonix wright games are on sale, mighty switch force and shantae and the pirate's curse as well.

From what i've seen, no we didn't get the sega classics unfortunately..

Edit: price for ace attoney trilogy is 22.49

Oh, I may just pick up a $25 card for this. I already played the first and most of the second game, but it'd be great to have on 3DS and I could finally get to play DD. I've been holding off on DD until I beat the earlier games.

I was waiting for a sale for the trilogy. I have the original DS carts, but would love a reason to play them again and having them on my 3DS is very convenient.

Well that's disappointing. Thought EU got 33% on PW but maybe they got 25% as well. I'll still buy it but was hoping for 33% and the SEGA games.

Nah, 25% off there, too. Frig, man, disappointments abound for portables. Was hoping to get that supposedly free WayForward game on PSN and Space Harrier on the eShop.

Can anybody quote the price for Dual Destinies? I already have the trilogy on iOS, only put me back $9 there.

I'll hold off a little while longer on the SEGA games and see if a sale happens. I'm still probably going to get Outrun today because, well, it's OUTRUN! I bought Space Harrier day one, as I have to show support for these games getting done in 3D.

I just bought Mighty Switch Force 1 and 2, and I bought...Bubble Pop Worlld...

It was $1.99. I just...it just looked... Beyond words.

I just had to have it.

So, this might have been answered, but if one was to just get one of the pheonix wright games, would you recommend the Trilogy or Dual Destinies?
