$5 off any PS2 game at Best Buy B&M Printable Coupon - Confirmed Actually Works Now!

CAGiversary!
I didn't see this posted anywhere on the site yet. This is ripped from FW:

Found this as part of McDonald's current PSP promotion. Go to McDonald's contest site:
http://mcdonalds3.promotions.com/psp/front.do

Wait for the flash animation to play, then click the EXPLORE button on the left. Wait for another flash to finish, then click on the back right swirl that says "Best Buy Coupon" when you mouse over it. This gives you a link to print the coupon.

The coupon states that it is good for $5 off ANY PS2 game, no restrictions on price listed. Coupon is valid through 12/31/05.

EDIT: Note that this is a different coupon than the previous one for PS2/PSP, and that it seems more legit, since it's supposed to be printed from McDonald's website rather than being a photocopy of in in-store coupon.

EDIT 2 Electric Boogaloo: Here's a PDF to the coupon in case you can't find it: (thanks encendido5)

Coupon(s) attached below:

Today's daily bump includes a short story ...

I was buying two games for my NASCAR 2006 preorders and using two coupons at the same time (OMG!).

The cashier rang up both games, then both coupons.

Since it didn't work, she said I couldn't use both coupons.

I said, "OK, I'll just take one game and buy the other one later."

She said, "No, you have to buy 2 video games to use the coupon."

I asked, "Huh?"

She said, "It says $5 off a 'Playstation' 2 video game. It's $5 off two video games."

I didn't laugh, but said, "No, it says $5 off a 'Playstation 2' video game. It's $5 off one video game."

Unable to locate a manager and embarrassed by my ability to read, she scanned game, coupon, game, coupon. Both coupons worked and I bid her a good day.

WOW.........

I went to BB and picked up Everquest Online Adventure for free with the coupon, going to check the other best buys around me tomorrow, btw the guy didn't ask a thing when I handed him the coupon and it scanned fine.

Sly2 and Killzone...$9.49 Each.

BB pricematched CC 110% less: $5.00 coupon.

This brings my total savings to $65.00, using coupons. And still climbing...

How'd you get 110% and the coupon? At time of purchase, BB's policy is just to match it. 110% is reserved for post-purchase pricematching.

I asked.

it's relatively tough to pricematch and get a coupon at my BB. I don't know why I have all the hardass we love our corporation people in my area. The only place I can sometimes get away with some stuff is Walmart.

The ass is always browner on the other side.

I went to my BB today to get Taiko Drum Master for $15 w/McD coupon. They refused my McD coupon, telling me their manager instructed them to stop accepting them. Good thing I used about 8 of them last weekend. Now I'm stuck with having to use only the GGC at that location. They even banned the PSP Guide coupon after the first time I used it way back when.

EDIT: went back once more tonight when a different set of employees are there, and picked up Tomb Raider:AoD for free...and I was REALLY bummed when I found out the Free Tombstone Pizza Slices Coupon on it expired back in June! :oldman:
Will this coupon work for XBOX games?
As long as the Xbox game you want is playable on the PS2
Do these work with the $4.99 BB sale in the other thread? I mean, I could get a LOT of games for free...
The McD coupon excludes clearance items, so probably not.

These have worked for me to get free games at best buy, I scored tomb raider angel of darkness, and everquest online for free using the older $5 coupon that I printed offline.

Does the coupon apply to the whole order? ie: When they scan the coupon, does every $9.99 become $4.99, or only one of them?

I just got back from Best Buy. My intention was to get Donkey Konga, but since they didn't have any I just picked up Metal Arms for $5 instead. It was the last one, but they had tons of Max Payne 2. Is Max Payne 2 any good? I'll be going back there when We Love Katamari comes out, and I might get it.

Bump...

For the few new members still wondering where the elusive McDonalds Best Buy coupon comes from...

Some cashiers won't let you - as always, buy other stuff so it isn't so noticeable. But since the $4.99 games aren't from an advertised clearance you have a good chance. I've been able to get a couple of NBA Street and a Scaler for free, but got shot down a few other times (even when I had other stuff to buy). It just depends on the cashier. There's nothing about the $4.99 games that indicates they are true "clearance" items other than the low price - but what's to separate that from just a regular markdown? The computer does not stop the coupon from working on these games as I, and many others, have found out - just the human component :D.
Here are the PDF files with High Resolution BB coupons. Look very good with my laser printer.
Could you make the PS2-only one in color? It'll look even more legit printed on a color laser.

I used the $5 PS2/PSP coup on Scaler. I used the McD's coup on Dead to Rights and Freekstyle. All free.

Picked up Pinball Hall Of Fame (PS2) today for free w/BB Coupon. They have them in stock with a new SKU sticker over the real SKU in a $9.99 cardboard display, but I found one copy in the regular game section with the real SKU still intact. There's no way I'm touching Best Buy on Black Friday.
