512MB=$62 & [1GB=$95 dead] - Memory Stick PRO Duo Media at Dell...

This is still a great deal , IMO. Where else can you get a 512MB MSDP for that price? I say it's worth the wait, assuming it really does take 3 weeks to ship. Thanks for the heads up.
 
Just be careful. Things on backorder at Dell tend to get cancelled - or go into "limbo" where they won't ever get fulfilled without officially being cancelled.

I've done a lot of dealings with Dell, and their backorders are some of the biggest hit-or-miss deals around. It's especially true if the price is a good savings over regular price. It also depends on who you talk to if your order goes south... Hopefully this will be one of the hits.

This is the memory card I picked up (Last week at BB for $59 AR) for my PSP and it works fine. I first bought the 512 Sandisk Gamers card, but I returned it. It didn't come with the memory stick adapter like this card does. I figured if my PSP's USB port broke and wouldn't read, I'd be screwed. Just something for those of you looking to get a PSP card to think about.

It is the SDMSPD-512-A10 and not A17, which is the gaming memory stick.

Aside from the color, there may not be any difference?

Does anyone know for sure?

I just tried to order a 1gig SD card for $78 and free shipping at Dell. The site stated "usually ships in 1-2 weeks". After I ordered my, conformation tells me it'll ship on June 10! I'm not sure if I want to wait 10 weeks for this.

Do you have a link to the 1gb card on Dell?? I was looking last night when I placed my order for the 512mb card for my psp. There was no 1gb card when I searched their site. None the less, I got in on this deal. I hope mine ships fast; ordered last night.

My guess is you already know this, but an SD card won't work in a PSP.

EDIT: 1GB card is now $95 at dell

This seems to happen to me every morning when I wake up and come here. I couldn't pass on this either.

Edit: I applied for one of those preffered customer accounts. I'm surprised they approved me though. I gonna get this thing paid off before that INSANE interest rate kicks in. That way I can keep what little money I have left for these INSANE gas prices. Thanx for the heads up Cheapy.

Awesome deal. Now let's just hope Dell ships them within a reasonable amount of time. Mine is supposed to ship 4/22, which ain't bad.
 
i don't know how i got free shipping (i was charged tax), i did order over the phone but i can't imagine why that would make a difference

then again my sales guy was kind of dopey so who knows if he even put the order through ;)
 
I am this close to ordering a gb stick. you can't see my fingers, but i assure they were very close together when i typed "this"
