7/8 KMART GAME SALE YMMV Pictures inside (xbox 360,gba,ds,ps2)

Chanash

CAGiversary!
Possible YMMV, this was at my Kmart in Chico, Ca today I took pictures with my camera phone. I walked in and saw all the sale signs and my jaw dropped at how cheap some of the games were.

They also had deals on ps2/gba/ds games but people were looking at me weird when I was taking pics of the prices so I only got the 360 prices.

A few games I remember
GBA Pokemon Fire Red - $9.99
Brain Age DS - $9.99
Isn't the first rule for any unadvertised deal always don't call? Or at least call with a generic question (e.g. what is your price on PDZ?).
But this deal IS advertised. Did you see the pics? I get the don't call rule. All I ask was if they had bright colored signage for video games...
Are you kidding me?!??! I called them and they had no idea on what the hell I was talking about? WHat did you pick up? Are there still a lot of games there? I mainly want enchanted arms. I thought this dude coolbrys was the only other redding cag...

Knew I should of stopped by. That store is full of clueless workers.
I just got back from the redding kmart and nothing rang up at those prices in the OP. I thought the deal was confirmed at the redding kmart?

No sale at the Kmart in Burbank, CA. But at least my belly got some beef shwarma from the Zankou Chicken across the street.

So by the looks of it this has only been spotted at two K-marts in CA? Huge YMMV. Oh well, as always, thanks anyway.
Being a CAG'er in chico is like living in a desolate wilderness where noone exists. There are still pac man pix games at my TRU i think, and the Circuit city near me as of yesterday had those clearance 360 games except for that tennis one
I'm originally from Chico and I always hit up the stores when I am back home for the holidays. Last year the TRU had pretty much every game on the list hours after opening in the post Christmas clearance. Too bad I won't be back there for a while, I would pick up some games.

Thanks for the link to the GOTY edition of Oblivion. I'm buying that as soon as it is released assuming the dowloaded content is included.

Also, where did all these N CA Cags come from? I'm in Red Bluff, right between Chico and Redding. My g/f just moved to Chico, so I'm there about once a week (more than that and I can't afford the gas!) But I do get pretty lucky on deals and stuff there; always figured there wasn't anyone there, but there's like two in this thread!

Oh and these are some nice deals, too bad I've got no 360 (or money)

OP: Do you remember the dates of the sale on those signs? I can't make them out from the pictures.

I can't imagine what's going on here. The signs are single price and not the normal signing used (normally you would see "Was: $$$.$$" in the bottom right corner. Maybe somebody's a moron and just decided they had too many video games and wanted to get rid of them ASAP.

You should NOT be able to find this deal at any other K-Mart.

Thanks for the deals.

And yeah, they have security ask you to leave if you take pictures of their prices or scan too many barcodes. :(

if anyone near philly is interested im talking about the kmart right in between lansdale and aldan.

The KMart in Warren, MI (13 Mile and Schoenherr) had the following XBOX 360 games in a small clearance section:

Rumble Roses: $15.00
Prey: $15.00
Final Fantasy 11: $15.00
Rockstar Table Tennis: $15.00

The only reason that is the case is because I moved to Ohio. Up until about May 2005 that town was my personal bitch

Part of the last batch of clearance PLCs a few weeks ago, so it's not part of this bizarre sale going on at this CA K-Mart.

I'm more surprised the store actually HAD security (unlike mine for the longest damn time now). Seems kinda stupid to me since you're just hunting (or perhaps hoping is the more appropriate term) for a good bargain, but then I remember my fellow co-workers given orders to carpool over to Wal-Mart and compare prices on a few hundred items. A group of people walking around Wal-Mart with clipboards is definitely not suspicious or anything.
