Batman Begins :)xbox:)
Mortal Kombat®: Deception

I picked up only 3 (already have most of them)..

All PS2.

The Matrix: Path of Neo
Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas
We Love Katamari

What surprised me was that my CC with the exception of 'Haunting Ground' and 'Indigo Prophecy' has numerous copies of each on the OP, in some cases over 20 copies of each game!
I checked both and they were NOT on clearance.
Yeah, I can confirm this for Tales of Legendia anyway. I had the guy scan it and it was still $49.99.

Picked up

Monster Hunter
Indigo Prophecy
NBA Street V3
Gun

Thanks wlau and the other people who found those games, awesome deal....
Hit 5 CC's grabbing a couple here, a couple there. Ended up with the following-

Wild Arms 4 x12
We Love Katamari x4
Indigo Prophecy x6
Nba Street Vol 3 x2
Haunting Ground x2
Castlevania COD x6
Mark Echo's Getting Up SE x2
Hulk UD x1
sooo......what are you planning on doing with those 12 Wild Arms4?
sooo......what are you planning on doing with those 12 Wild Arms4?
1. Not ebay thats for damn sure. Anything that Ive got left by next weekend is going to be taken back.

2. Depends on the trade bait offered, mostly selling to help other CAG'ers. Even then, if its anything like the 9.99 cc games i had gotten a couple weeks ago any fucker that thinks im gonna pay for their shipping to help them out is funny.

Able to pick up Hulk Ultimate Destruction and Ultimate Spider-Man.
Still looking for 007 From Russia with love.

This was at the Jantzen Beach CC in Portland, OR.

They had a ton of items, didn't see Katamari or Xenosaga.

I hid an Indigo Prophecy behind the Batallion Wars in the Gamecube section at that store for another CAG and he said it was gone the next day. So who here snagged that? :D. I was there Wednesday afternoon. They had most of the games except for Radiata and Gauntlet (which no Portland CC's have had - I had them check). I didn't know about Katamari at the time, but I don't think there was one there anyway. I think there's a bunch of Xenosaga II's at Tigard.

Oh, by the way, I was able to take the $15 off $100 coupon I got in the mail (with my online order from CC) and have them adjust a receipt from my purchases earlier in the week. Got $15 back on my credit card - nice.

This is pretty insane. But I hid a copy of Hulk and Indigo Prohphecy behind a bunch of copies of Battalion Wars at my Circuit City too. ROFL.
12 copies of Wild ARms 4? damn...
Yup. That seemed to be one of the most wanted games so I paid most attn to that. All the CC's I hit were quite well stocked with em even after I had left.

im really hoping to score Fantastic Four tommorow, i would have liked it on the cube, but i cant argue the price.

Saw a couple Castlevania CoD's if anyone is looking for a copy. I didn't get either, but let me know if anyone wants to trade or reimburse me. Nice that "Cool Deals" games are currently 25% off according to latest ad. I'm guessing/hoping someone else already mentioned that.
12 copies of Wild ARms 4? damn...
Yea I think it's cool though. He visited 5 CC's and picked up 12 WA4. In no way he is hoarding since thats average of 2 a location. Hell I picked up 2 from one location also :)

I'm looking for an Ultimate Destruction - managed to pick up every game I wanted but that one, which was explained when I saw someone else walking out with five copies who would sell them to me for merely $35 apiece.
Yup. That seemed to be one of the most wanted games so I paid most attn to that. All the CC's I hit were quite well stocked with em even after I had left.
Actually, I don't think I've heard anyone say they had any trouble finding this one. I know my local CC had a ton of them. Radiata and Katamari seem to be the two that most people want but can't find.

NOW that is thinking!

Every CC you go to is well stocked with Wild Arms 4. It only makes sense that CAGs would rather buy them from you then from their local and well stocked CC!

Also since Wild Arms 4 is such a rare and popular RPG, just like Wild Arms 3 that can often ALSO be found at most CC's, so the the value bound to shoot up in about 20 years.

I think you should go buy more of them.

word on that. i saw like 12 copies at two CCs. And everyone on this forum seems to want it. Too bad they all got it.

I agree that 12 is a little excessive but cut the guy some slack. He claims he was acting in the best interest of CAG's and I seem to recall several people mentioning they weren't able to find WA4 at their local CC. I seriously doubt he'll find a home for all 11 extras here though so it may be in his best interest to return some (most) of them.

1. I never said it was rare. Taking a quick glimpse over the "official" trade thread it seemed like a game people wanted and I was willing to put some on my cc to help.

2. Its assholes like you, that keep people like me from helping others. If I was going to hoard games I would have made out with well over 40 Wild Arms 4.
So you wanna sit here and be a smartass to me because I was nice enough to grabs extra on a credit card to possibly help other CAG'ers that dont have a way to get to a CC and snag one? Nice going clowshoe.

I think its far worse from the people that get the cheap games, and when people dont find em or cant go to a cc to look and they ask to trade, the only shit they want is stuff that still costs 29.99 up and trying to take advantage of others like that. But no, you chose me.

No skin off my nose. Ill just take em back this weekend and say to hell with everyone else. Im out for myself from here on out. Why help others only to have assholes like this come out of the wood work.

Wild Arms 4 is falling off the shelves, and I also spotted Castlevania, the new Matrix game and several other titles here. All of the $8.96 titles were stickered as such at the York, PA store, and it looked like they were hit pretty hard. That's what I get for not checking CAG every day! Still, I was able to snag the last Getting Up LE tin here, but I didn't have any luck finding The Warriors or Hulk UD for the PS2. I drove over to Lancaster, PA, too. There, nothing was stickered $8.96, but they must have been hammered because their video game section was picked clean. The only thing left there that was cheap was State of Emergency 2 and I think Getting Up (the non-LE one).

I'm kind of hoping that when the Xbox list comes out The Warriors and Hulk UD will be on it, because there are piles of those here. Thanks to the OP for posting the list... please, please post the other markdowns as soon as you get them because I don't want to miss out like I did with the PS2 stuff.

Ah, the darkside of a great deal. You really shouldn't have told anybody that you got 12 copies of any game. No one will give a damn about your intentions when they see that you picked up 12 copies. Try to forget the asshats that seem more and more common these days and try to deal with people that seem genuinely grateful at the chance of getting in on the deal. Shame on all of you who went back to shitty high school snobbery when he Pickle is just trying to hook up CAGs instead of leaving games for the FatWalleteers. Hell, I think many of you asshats who've come in here to flame Pickle must be wolves in sheeps clothing and I'll tell you all to go to hell.

Dude, man, everyone is so freaking sensitive. It's just some light ribbing. It's not like we're trying to press charges on anyone or something. I have nothing against the guy.

I can see you were trying to act in CAGs best interest, but hoarding to help is still hoarding. I picked up an extra Castlevania and an extra Indigo Prophecy (the latter was requested by a CAG right off the bat) to try and help out with some trades. It's one thing to pick up an extra for a CAG for trade or sale at the cost of shipping. It's another thing to pick up at least 20 games you have no intention of playing to try and make some sort of profit (either through getting something you wanted from trades or a mark up on the game). Even if you return them, you're still costing people the gas money to keep going back and forth between Circuit City for the week or so you don't return the games.

I don't care so much that you're hoarding, I'm just irked that you're acting like some sort of Cheap Ass saint who's trying to help out other CAGs who can't get their games (mostly because of hoarders).

Good point. During the 9.99 CC sale i picked up 10 copies of Dragon Quest 8. But when i posted in the thread that i had extra, thats all i said - I have extra. Then I sold off to the first 10 Cag's that PM'd me.

I am confused, who is the snob?

I apologize for the OT message.

It's all good. jpuma already apologized for what he said. I might have gone overboard but I hate to see another person turned off from this site because of guys who think they're shit don't stink. And jpuma, your excuse for your behavior is the same excuse bullies around the world use to explain themselves. It's not civilized or friendly so take that behavior elsewhere. We already have one Scorch.

It may not be proven but several of our member are also FatWallet members. Shortly after a deal breaks here, it's on Fat Wallet. I thought they were just trolling different web sites until I realized they were also getting deals that weren't on the front page.

I was lucky to find me a copy of Indigo Prophecy but it was $20, is it only the PS2 that is on sale? It wasn't a total lost going there, at least I got the last Mark Ecko tin.

For now... yes. Sometime in the near future there are supposed to be XBox and GCN updates and I wouldn't be surprised if the XBox version also shows up.

IIRC, the last two annual sales have occurred during the July 4th weekend, so I'm glad I can get in on this. As a bonus, this sale doesn't seem to have the craze of the one two years ago (nobody else with lists printed out), so I got most of what I wanted even though I was a bit late.

Ok there killer. This is the INTERNET. Stop acting like this is real life personal interaction. You don't know me, you can't me, so you have no idea what i meant by any comment on this website; hence my subsequent comment on how people are a little too sensitive on the internet. ;)

do you have all 12 on one recept or more then 1.... Im shocked they would even take back 12 of the same game alone sell you 12 games. I know at least here they was limiting the games to 2 or 3 per person

This is what I don't get, and I think you make a good point.. when is hoarding ok? It's ok if you buy every copy in the store to sell to other CAG's, but what about people in that area who go to the store and find nothing?

I've also seen people hoard multiple copies of games to trade them off to Gamerush, for example... that behavior is ok, yet selling them through any various auction site is not?

This dosen't have anything to do with the guy who bought 12 Wild Arms 4 since he said he left some at each store, but it shows that alot of CAG's have double standards when it comes to "hoarding". I mean, the Gamerush thread is full of people who said "Oh, I bought the last copy of Nightmare Before Christmas and traded it in to Gamerush, I didn't even play it", and that's acceptable.

If that person said "Oh, I bought the last copy, and sold it on Ebay" they are branded a hoarder and looked down upon by the community? It really makes no sense.

I've seen people come back from these sales and say "Oh, I got the last three copies of a game, all three are on my trade list"... what happens to the three people in that area who wanted 1 copy just to play, and now they won't find it because some guy just bought them to trade them?

yes everyone has double standards.

last year i was talking about buying a game at Target cause they got the games 2 days before best buy. Then going over to best buy and buying the game and returning it to target. People flamed me and said that was Fraud.

Funny thing is i see the same people who said that is fraud who is doing the same thing now and they acted like they did nothing wrong.

few years back this site was about game trading and helping others get deals but today this site is nothing but calling people names and making fun of other people.

If it rains tomorrow i might run out and see if they got any time crisis left (if it dont rain , Im going to lake)

I agree with Roufuss somewhat. It's true that there is a chance other ppl in the area might not get to play the game because someone bought the last few copies. It is still hoarding even if that person is trying to help other people in CAG, even though he's helping for a good cause. That's why a limit should be placed on quantity an individual can buy. That's the best we can do. Hoarding might not be ok for some ppl's moral standard. But it's up to the person who's buying the games to decide if it's ok to hoard. If he/she hoard the games for someone else, the people who were helped would be thankful for him/her and at the same time, the people who couldn't get the games because of the hoarding might be disappointed. Bottomline, you can't make everyone happy, you just have to follow your heart and make the best moral judgment regardless what other people might think of you. DO WHAT YOU THINK IT'S RIGHT and bare any consequences it might have.

3 copies ea from 4 stores out of 5 I went to leaving behind 50 more between them is NOT HOARDING. Im not saying Im a saint but Ill be damned of being treated like shit for getting extras for those that have no access to a CC to get in on it.

Between other multiple posts, if people paid attn a little more close attn they would see that I hit 5 cc's spreading out what I got and how many from each store.

Even Jesus got criticized for curing the sick, but he still did it because he thought it's the right thing to do. Pickle, don't worry about how others think of you, as long as you believe in what you do.

Nah, fuck that. Im tired of being accused of shit when I spread my haul out over 5 cc's and leave tons more than I fucking bought. Screw that noise of "people now spending gas $$$ to go back blah blah blah". 3 copies each of wild arms 4 between 4 stores while leaving at "least" 5-10 per store behind is NOTHING compared to what half the fuckers on here do and never admit to it. Nevermind the fact I was being honest about the whole damn thing and not hiding what I got. What I paid plus shipping obviously isnt a good enough deal to help anyone. Theres still a small handful of people that Ill help because they help me.

The best part? One cc i was picking up the b1g1f dvd's for 9.99...the guy at the checkout didnt pay attn that the register cut him off at 14 items and kept ringing shit up even though it never made it to the receipt and I didnt pay but noticed when I got home that the 2 echo's, 2 wild arms 4, 3 castlevanias and the hulk game never got paid for so that put me in a position to cut some slack.
