got you marked down. just fair warning though if you have already played oblivion you will hate two worlds only cuz of all the freaking glitches. however if you have not played oblivion... play it after playing two worlds and you will love Oblivion even more :)

I'm going home this weekend, so I'll look around for some stuff to donate. Assuming I don't find anything worth donating, I'll try to at least give a monetary donation. :)
 
I just want to take a minute to thank everyone who has helped, donated and supported the charity sale in any way. It's going to be great and it would not be nearly as great without all the help that all you generous CAG's have been. I wish there was a way that I could better express my thanks, but it seem nigh impossible. If any of you ever come to Pittsburgh, look me up and I'll buy you a drink! There are still more donations coming in every day and it's going to be great. Now for a couple of notes on the sale itself. I'm working on getting the sale thread together and it's going to start sometime on Friday evening. Due to my work and school schedule, Mr.Hockey has agreed to update the bids on the days where it's not feasible for me to do so. Also I'm thinking since it's for charity and I assume most people will agree that we should do actual shipping not this 2 dollars and then 1 after that per item. I'm also hoping that we can collectively not be total cheapasses and bid maybe an extra dollar or so than we normally would. I think the auction will go for 2 weeks. Otherwise the normal CAG lowball guidelines are in effect. Let me know your thoughts so we can make this as enjoyable as possible for everyone.
 
I can't sleep but I wanted to post that my PSP bundle is going to be added to the sale. It's a silver PSP slim. It comes with a snazzy white carrying case, a 2 and 4 gig memory stick and the headphone remote control. That should bring in some dough. It also has the charger and battery.

Also, I am not sure if this was posted, but how do we know the proceeds are going to go directly to the child's play charity? and if they are, are 100% of the proceeds going towards it? I just thought you might want to make it more clear to give the community some confidence that you are not just going to grab the money and run or just give 10% towards the charity and keep the rest to yourself.

I apologize for my lack of fate, but people these days will do anything to scam for money.

I've really got no way to prove that but the last thing I'm going to do is scam people under the guise of charity. I'm sure that would secure my one way ticket to hell. 100% of the money after shipping costs is going directly to the charity. The people that have gotten to know me on this site can vouch for me. Additionally when the auction is over totals will be posted and it will also be posted what shipping cost and then, and I'm not sure how I'm going to do it, I want everyone involved to see the money transfer to the charity. That way everyone can feel good about themselves and also know that I haven't screwed them over.

This is a great thing. I don't have anything to donate this time around, but I will get in there and spend freely, driving up prices for a good cause (and hopefully getting myself some games). :D
 
So I'm working on getting this auction ready to go. I'm currently working on the "weird shit" section and we've really gone round the bend on this one.

Definitely a great thing you are doing here. I suppose you will be donating through Child's Play Charity website. Also, I thought we already have this annually? Like every Christmas (actually, we do, just saw the CAG sponsor logo). Good luck, subscribed to see how the turn out will be.

Yeah there is a donation/raffle thing every Christmas. I wanted to do something that would be more entertaining for everyone and a lowball is the way to go. The inspiration was taken from the annual drive but I switched it up a bit.
