I did great today. Got Metroid Prime and F-Zero GX for $14.99 a piece from CC (50 miles away since my local one shut down  ). Then for the hell of it I looked around the GC section and I found a Waverace Bluestorm. It said $49.99 but I remebered that during the big CC sale at the beginning of the year, it was ringing up $9.96. So when the guy scanned it I was delighted to see that it was still $9.96! I also got the Mad Catz Xbox communicator for $4.99. So I got three great games and a Xbox peripheral all for less than the price of a single new release! 8)
Do you think that Wave Race deal is YMMV or at all CC's including my local one?
Wave Race will ring up $9.96 at any CC that still has it in stock.

I still regret paying $49.99 for Wave Race Blue Storm on launch day. WR64 is one of my favorite N64 games but I thought the controls on Blue Storm were horrible and the track design was boring (1 track was even identical to the N64 version, that track was ok but it just seems cheap to put the same track in the new game).
yoshifan1, is blue storm worth 10 bucks though?
I think so, it's not a bad game just that I was very dissapointed with it compared to the N64 version.

i think CC should invest in a customer-abled scanner like target and wal mart have....its bull shit that they cant tag the right prices....then a lot of times get an attitude when you ask them to price check it....i would personally pay cc one hundred dollars to put one in my local store...i would definitely gain back my hundred almost immediately

Youd probably be less likely to get the good deals though, as they would dissappear faster.
i was planning on getting F Zero. you waited THIS long for MP? that game's my favorite Cube game by far.
Yeah, I am a HUGE Metroid fan but I didn't get my Gamecube until January this year. Nintendofangirl had posted a Wal-Mart website link to a GC with the Zelda Collectors edition. Those had been sold out locally but I jumped on it when she posted the link because the Zelda bundle was becoming hard to find. I didn't want to miss out. I knew Metroid Prime would have to come down soon so I waited a few months after I got my Cube to get it.

My 'local' (as in next town over) CC was filled with Wave Race games. It's amazing how behind they are with their pricing. I guess I'll go pick that up next week although with my luck it'll have sold out.

well i picked F Zero up today, before which i bought KotOR for Xbox at Walmart. good deal.

and someone posted the GBA Player for $30 at Walmart. that's definitely wrong, it's still $50.

Walmart prices are even more YMMV than Target. Something on clearance at one Walmart can be full price and not on clearance at another.

Yea I hear people returning unopened games at Walmart all the time. I guess they like overpricing the games.

I've never encountered an employee at my CC with an attitude. In fact, it's because of their customer service that I try my best to give as much business to them as possible.
