Well, that sounds promising enough... I'm hoping it's not like... world-endingly difficult or something like that. Did you have to read about minorities or some shit like that? Because that's always what killed me on the ACT (well, maybe not killed)... I just don't care.

So if this is less about dangerous races of people, I can do good.
 
Just finished a round of Hot Shots Golf 1 on the PSP. Other than that, it's going to be Darkness, FEAR, Shadowrun, and any other game that will get zero play time when Brothers in Arms and Gears 2 come out.

Does anyone have a paypal account we can drop monies into? Or what other payment option might work the best? I could put up a $.01 item +$3.99 shipping on my amazon store that you guys could buy, then I get paid and buy Wipeout HD, then let people Download it from my account?

I could be in for the gameshare though I'm not sure about the finer details of actually obtaining the game. But I'll throw in $4 or $5 or whatever.
 
Yeah I just need to figure out how to get a reliable payment method going. I would lose a little from amazon commission if I did it the amazon way, but i wouldn't mind losing a few dollars, just leave me some positive feedback.

yes, actually I did. a nice passage on how slaves grew rice and whether it started before the Revolutionary war or after. and the implications of this on hiojwnkjnsk;djnf;lnksdlkndsf.......*snore*

Is SimCity Creator DS essentially the sequel to the first one on the system. There was some great potential there, just needed some execution tweaks.
 
Wow, the Mercs 2 demo is really fun. Like, I don't even know what's happening or why, but it's really, really fun.

Pirates VS Ninjas Dodgeball on the other hand...

Senioritis, man.

Played like 2 hours of Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Such a good game. The single player is like the same damn thing as the first game, but that's not a bad thing when the first game was so fuckin' fun.

Takin' a break due to eyes saying "whoa, mothafuck, time to take a break," and because of Kitchen Nightmares.

They should make Ska Band. It's like Rock Band, but with more horns!

If they ever get some decent ska dlc for Rock Band I will fucking cream my pants. Just the thought of playing Catch 22's Keasbey nights on guitar while I skank along is enough to make me want to trigger.

I don't think the movie is looking hot but I'm loving the book. I got hooked in when my friend showed me a part early in the book where the main character talks about
how his childhood hero was a guy he saw on a website that dressed up as tarzan and had an monkey shove almonds in his ass.

It makes sense when you read the rest of the book, and once the shock value subsides the book is crazy good. I now have to read all of his books lol.

El Scorcho is the easiest guitar song in rock band. I gold starred that shit.

EDIT: I just wrote a lengthy blog about my favorite albums. I have shitty writing skills but I worked hard on it so give that ish a read.

also, that intro song to the movie Wall-E gets me every time... I don't know why.
 
I think I may have found "my" Tekken character! The big guy in the red pants with robot arms and the fucking move where he jumps and lands on your opponent. I had a lot of fun with him. I'm still shopping around for my SF character though. Ryu is my top choice, but he's so cliche...

One of 2 games I got all gamerpoints for, the other being Fight Night 3, which was so easy a bably could do it.

I've got most of my trade list up. Lots of shit on there. I should have more to add sometime. I still need to add my NES collection. Maybe I will in a sec. I'm adding some Sega CD games now.

since I finally have a job I'm seriously considering getting gamefly after liking netflix so much (that I don't pay for). anyone have input on if this is good or bad?

I was going to use them a while back but they stopped doing PSP game rentals but I now see they have them back... the monthly price for the rentals is about the same as what I pay overall for my games monthly...
 
Is Lego Batman supposed to come out next week? If so, I know a Target that blatantly broke the street date.

seriously, gamefly is the freakin answer to "hey CAG, is this game worth $30? is this game worth $20??"

to be honest, NO is also the answer to that question... if you have to ask go spend your time playing something better instead.

your time is more valuable than your money btw. SKILLZ.

but... gamefly is a good service. I'm gonna restart my membership soon since Id rather spend $15 to rent and beat Wario Shake than to either pay $50 or wait for a price drop

warriors orochi 2 is everything that's right with the franchise. cheesy ass story that makes no sense and fighting aliens with guan yu.
 
EVERYONE who is considering Wipeout HD Gameshare next week PM ME.

I will give you details on payment, I want to get this sorted out ASAP. I know it's a week away, but things tend to come up sometimes. Should be $4 per person if we get 5 people involved.

Dragon Quest IV is good. Old school awesome. Really brings back memories of when I was a wee lad playing it on my NES while I laid on my bed back home, staring at my crappy little 13' TV and yelling at my little brothers to stay out of my room. Good times.

I'm already on Chapter 2. I love all the tweaks from the NES version, cause I can remember this game being a lot more tedious scrolling thru all the text and just moving around in general. The area-specific dialects used by NPCs are a nice touch too.
 
Damn do I want DQIV. . . I need a money cheat for real life.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Yakuza 2 is bad ass. Getting all liquored up on some Jack Daniel's and beating ass is too good. :)

I want to say it is the same game that's SimCity 2 in Japan, but I'm not positive.

Finally to the final part of the last endgame in Radiant Dawn. Looks like a short one, so I imagine I'll finally have it wrapped up tonight. Then I can dig into DQIV over the weekend and prep for Wario Land next week.

very valid point. I don't like renting where I have to retun things so quick so this will be a solution. probably save me more money and get me more game time to be honest...

Once I get my first paycheck or two I'll start the service... probably go for the 2 games per month package.


oh and I really look forward to next week due to Wipeout HD and the possible 360 dash upgrade (unlikely, but word has been said next week is moot)

Wipeout HD is very good for a racer... plus probably has the best use of sixaxis controls as well as rumble for a PS3 game so far... oh, and the liscensed soundtrack rocks... and has custom soundtracks if you don't agree... and has alot of other badasseries
