Naw, man, that's tomorrows gettings. I cant play it this weekend anyway.
Ah. How much better is it supposed to run than the first? I really don't think my system can handle it.
Apparently, quite a bit better. What kind of frame rates were you getting with the first one?
I don't know any real numbers, wasn't sure how to check it in the dev console. I was running all the shit on medium, at 1440x900. I think I was just a bit under 30, but that's just a guess based on what 10-20 looked like on Age of Conan.

yeah, youd prolly be fine then.

but the important thing is that warhead is supposed to be like way better than the original... and the original was damn good.
You guys haven't even played Stubbs... have you?
I've never played it. Wish there was a place that had it for $5 or so (one of the og xbox games I've yet to play that I actually want to).

How can I check my FR in the Dev console? If it's 30 like I'm guessing I'll probably pick up Warhead.

I'm gonna trade Bioshock into hastings tonight if I can get a decent price for it. Hoping that they have a used mercenaries so my stepdad will buy it and bad company so I can get a free Burnout Paradise.

Steam has it for 5 bucks lol.

Should I trade in SCIV PS3 for SCIV360?
SCIV has a value of $35, and I'd trade in some other (read: bad) game to get it for probably less than $5.
Sound good?

Ok. I have an Arcade Stick for the 360, so its all good.
My online for PS3= doomed anyway, so I'm also potentially getting rid of UT3, Motorstorm and GT5:prologue.
Hopefully I'll be walking out with SCIV 360 and Battle Fantasia!
dont do, cause i wanna play against you
My PS3 online is NAT 3. I can't change it. The 360 works.
You wouldn't be able to play me anyway :)

And Radiant Dawn is beaten. Sort of an anti-climactic final chapter other than enemies with shitloads of HP, but it was a very enjoyable 62 hours and 31 minutes. Almost thought they had gotten rid of the unit records at the end, but thankfully they were there.

I guess that frees up the rest of the weekend for DQIV.
u try turning off the media server stuff?
Yep. I called everything known to man, did the portforwarding stuff etc.
No luck.

Oh god dammit I didn't realize that goozex automatically deducts points if you are up for the game. I wanted other stuff before Tekken 5 lol. Can I cancel some how?

Anyway, going to play Warhawk in 2 hours. Before that, I may play a little Burnout Paradise online.

No luck.
Did you EVER open the DMZ on your PS3? That's strange because the new setup on PS3, it's very hard to get Type 3 NAT (I mean, I use to be Type 3 at my old apartment and it switched to Type 2 during a firmware upgrade). Did you make sure the ports were forward to the local IP you set your PS3 at (I recommend manually setting up your internet on PS3, that's what I do for my PS3, 360, and Wii (or I can't get online)).

I don't know how to do DMZ.
I know WHERE it is on the router settings, but I don't understand it.
Mine doesn't look like the one in MMs guide.
I have a WRT110, if that helps, Linksys.
It doesn't matter though, I don't really like the 3 PS3 games I'm ditching and would rather have it on 360, because its apparently better!

the 360 version is only better if you are a hardcore fighter fan...other than that, its the same and you wont notice the difference

UT3 is gimped on 360

In the User Guide, shows you how to in Advanced Configuration.

If you wanna trade in your PS3 games then go ahead. Whatever makes you feel better man.

GGT is lame today, I don't even know what the fuck you guys are talking about, benchmarks and WEPs and Warheads and shit. This is my kind of Warhead:
sendbinary.asp

So remember the other day, I did a mystery setlist in RB2, got both Coheed and Cambria songs in a row, and thought that wasn't much of a mystery? Got the same fucking songs again in a mystery setlist today. 200+ songs and you can't get me anything else? Bitch please.

I offically have more DLC songs then there are songs on the RB1 disc. Harmonix, please let go of my balls.

Played some Ratchet and Clank future here this evening. That's freakishly good stuff. Fun gameplay, good sense of humor, etc. I'm not certain that I'll replay it after I'm done, but chances are high that I'll get the DLC one, especially if it goes on sale at some point.

Has it been confirmed that you can gameshare WipEout? I'm just wondering since you can't with some bigger games like Warhawk, right?

azumanga, are you getting either of the NBA games next month? I think you and nyprimus are the only other sports game guys in GGT. :p

Edit: damn, that's an awesome avatar RR. Makes no sense, but it's cool. ^_^

You know what's a great a song? "King" one of the bonus tracks on the deluxe version of Weezer's Red Album. Listening to that one on some nice speakers? Mmmm.
And here I thought you forgot about me.

Brings a tear of joy to my eye (just one).

Thanks man, looks awesome.
watch out, I noticed that the image got compressed... don't upload the pic but use the link I posted, it'll come out clearer and nicer. I'm art OCD.
I still want my Maria Ozawa av, RR. hehe.
find me a reference pic and I can get started on it the next time I work (wed)
That's awesome, RR. Next go-round, we should do mash-up pieces ;)
I'd love that. post ideas whoever and if one sparks my interest I'll hop to it.

I'm currently doing a Street fighter piece but don't like how it's going... it was ryu and ken but I may just change it into a SFA Final Fight crew shot.

I think this was a problem in the first one, too. How the fuck have they not fixed it yet?

I have Battle Fantasia and SCIV for the 360 :)
I'm very happy.
Got rid of:

UT3- I was actually disappointed with it, its just not the same on a console, and I don't have a powerful computer to run it. Also, even before my connection asploded, I had way too many problems with Online

PGR4- I haven't played it for a solid 3 months. Just didn't care about it, and I can't believe it worked for the Trade 3 Get it Free!

Sega Superstars Tennis- Since playing with Rei (I think it was Rei) I haven't touched it.

For SCIV I traded SCIV PS3 and 2 awful games (Zelda DS and Rayman Rabbids).

Very happy.

*runs to play Battle Fantasia*

Nice azumanga. I went to hastings to trade in Bioshock and get either Burnout Paradise or Yakuza 2, but they were only going to give me 5 bucks for it. Shit.

They had some awesome after mir deals though. Off the top of my head, DMC4 360 was 20, Blue Dragon was 10, Stranglehold 360 was ten, and you actually made 10 bucks if you bought Project 8 on PS3. There were a whole bunch more I'm forgetting.

I ran the crysis gpu benchmark I found in the demo's BIN 32 folder and averaged 11 fps.....I know I get higher than that in game though. Vista says the game has a recommended rating of 5.0 and I have a 4.8 so IDK.

Meh, on medium settings at the start of the stage I got in the low 20's dipped to around 15 in firefights. Switched to low and I was getting 20-30. Switched back to medium and got 7. What the fuck?

Couldn't really tell a difference between medium and low, they were both pretty much 360 quality. Oh well, I guess I'll hold off on Crysis till I get a new GPU some time this winter.

man I kinda want that game, but I dont got a 360...

the thing is... I have hookups to get one for pretty damn cheap,

but I dont have the time to play, I dont have the space to put it somewhere, and I'm STILL waiting for them to put a new "chip" or something that wont cause a RROD, coz it's real hot where I live and I'm sure that would guarantee me to have a hot xbox...

but other than that... WHOOO~!! WEEKEND!!

I'm gonna sleep like a beast in beast wars tonite!

if I focus I could most likely beat DMC4 too... we'll see if I wanna do that,,,

watching the Wire (season 3), playing some Witcher.

Got Naruto 360 in the mail today. Hastings had it for $12 shipped, so I thought that was a good time to bite. I wanna see how slick it looks...even though a naruto is against everything I believe in

Too bad mah 360 is at home and I won't be home to get it for a month

I want Battle Fantasia. How is it so far, Azumangaman?

I'm currently getting all the Witcher Expanded Edition patches and stuff. Taking fucking forever. . .

Thanks for the tip.

I played about 2 hours of it before I heard about the Expanded Edition, then I stopped. I figured I might as well wait until all the new shit is out. :)
