Sweet, more downtime.

Played the Pursuit Force Extreme Justive demo last night and it was damn fun. I want to buy the first game. Might pick it up on eBay for $15.

TFN, what's the deal with that NWFC Adapter?
it keeps failing at the DNS part of the test and I've tried everything I can think of
hmmm... are you doing static or dhcp?
and you've got your laptop/desktop/whatever connected to the router and it's on the internet fine?
Look, it's CAG, the YoYo version. Up and down, up and down.
left and right, left and right, b and a, b and a, select then start.
What's the DNS server that's coming up on the 360? Is it 192.168.1.1 or something else?

192.168.1.1 would be the router, and if it's not set right, you'll get DNS issues from the 360. If it's something else, then it's coming from your ISP. As you said your computer's working OK, then I'd check the IP settings the computer has and compare them to the 360.
Personally, I run an IP config and grab the ISP's DNS servers, then put those in a static IP configuration for most devices. I don't think my router is configured to handle DNS serving -- if it can be, it surely isn't.
when is 2.0 supposed to drop? Hasn't Cheapy been promising that shit for years?
About the same time as the server upgrade.

Then we'd work towards getting it static'd and working correctly.

its dynamic ip but everything is the same outside of the ip address on the 360 (its linked to the router address rather than the modem).

I don't need a static ip, do I?

This shit sucks.

TFN, let me know about the Wifi Adapter.

I have to buy Pursuit Force. The second mission on the demo was even better than the first.

Never have I seen this.

What the fuck is going on with CAG. I've barely been able to use it since around 8am. And now everything loads super slow. We need CAG 2.0 nao!

I decided to do the same thing you guys are doing, but more compact.

whoa. trippy. hey lordwow... you got any suggestions on how to handle the second corridor in no fighting? i'm having trouble with the fact that there's a guard in each corridor facing the center aisle... i try to grenade or flashbang them and move, but it doesn't quite work... and i can't get a clean shot on them cause of the architecture...

Damn I was hoping shit was going to be fixed after I watched Zodiac. Guess not.

Also if you have an HD player make sure to check this movie out. It probably is the best looking movie on either format. Looks fucking amazing.

I picked up one of those mis-labeled DDR Universe 2 bundles at Target yesterday.

I wasn't aware it actually a screw up. I felt pretty bad afterwards since I'm certain the only reason I was able to get it was because the clerk was a buddy of mine.

Picked up a Viva Pinata faceplate for $3 from Sears yesterday too.

Yeah, I don't know why I did that either.

This part took me, probably the most time out of any part of the game except Mile High Club. My strategy was this (sorry, no picture this morning, don't have time before class):

- There are two guys that are going to run out of each side hallway, wait and kill both of them first.
- Flashbang the right hallway and sprint down it. Pray the guy in the left hallway gets flashbanged or misses you. It works about 50/50. (Depending on your speed, you can also flashbang both hallways, but I found I was wasting too much time doing that).
- Shoot the guy in the first silo, go to the right and get behind the missile (so you're prone perpindicular to the hallway you just ran down, and the missile is blocking your view of the next hallway (the one between the two missile silos). Here, you're going to have to slowly crawl around the each side of the missle and shoot the guys down the hallway. Use a flashbang if necessary. Watch your right for anyone who ran into the room.
- Once you've cleared the hallway AND the opposite missile silo by proning, sprint down that hallway, and repeat by proning behind the missile and shooting down the next hallway.
- Sprint to the locked door, which should be the next checkpoint.

It takes a lot of practice and it must be done QUICKLY, I got to the next checkpoint about 5 or 6 times without it saving because I didn't have enough time left. You should have about 2:30-3:00 if I remember correctly.

John Edwards is out.
Rudy Giuliani is likely to be out.

Wow. What a primary. Time to kiss some ass and stay in the spotlight for that VP nomination, Edwards.

EDIT: Am I alone in that I find Half-Life 2 to be both boring and engrossing at the same time? I really want to finish it, but I'm kinda dreading it. Strange. How long are Episodes 1 and 2 compared to the regular game?

I agree, especially having played through HL2 when it came out on PC. I've been on the car part (on the beach) for about 4 weeks now, and have no real interest in finishing other than for the cheesemints.
It may look good, but is the movie itself any good?
Yes. The movie is great. Even though it was close to three hours I was into it the whole time. I am going to try and watch the extras later in the week to see what they are like.

Mak I didn't buy Lost because I have never seen Lost.

I kind of have the same attitude towards Oblivion.

I'll be surprised if Guliani stays in through NY's primary. His ego won't let him finish a non-factor in his state.

You do know the game gets a hell of a lot better after that right? The last act of Half Life 2 is why people like the game so much (that along with Ravenholm and Nova Prospekt).

As Michael Jackson once sang, "You are not alooooooooooooone."

I woke up at 7am to the sound of a hammer pounding on the wall above me -_-. I haven't been up that early in atleast two months.

Trading Open Season for PSU. Apparently you get 1000 / 1000 for just finishing the single player quest in that one. (As long as I can stand playing through it...)

Ya, I've played through it before on PC. I suppose I should just get through the Highway and enjoy the rest of the game.
