^^ That data was lost in some DB problems overnight.

I was pretty impressed with the Tomb Raider Legends demo. Very smooth controls and Lara can really do a ton of shit. Reminded me of the first Splinter Cell in that way. Demo is pretty long too, I ended up quitting when I got to some room with a large mechanism puzzle.
What the heck happened to my 360 tag/Wii friend code/location/etc on the left?
It all got deleted in the database crash.
This part took me, probably the most time out of any part of the game except Mile High Club. My strategy was this (sorry, no picture this morning, don't have time before class):

- There are two guys that are going to run out of each side hallway, wait and kill both of them first.
- Flashbang the right hallway and sprint down it. Pray the guy in the left hallway gets flashbanged or misses you. It works about 50/50. (Depending on your speed, you can also flashbang both hallways, but I found I was wasting too much time doing that).
- Shoot the guy in the first silo, go to the right and get behind the missile (so you're prone perpindicular to the hallway you just ran down, and the missile is blocking your view of the next hallway (the one between the two missile silos). Here, you're going to have to slowly crawl around the each side of the missle and shoot the guys down the hallway. Use a flashbang if necessary. Watch your right for anyone who ran into the room.
- Once you've cleared the hallway AND the opposite missile silo by proning, sprint down that hallway, and repeat by proning behind the missile and shooting down the next hallway.
- Sprint to the locked door, which should be the next checkpoint.

It takes a lot of practice and it must be done QUICKLY, I got to the next checkpoint about 5 or 6 times without it saving because I didn't have enough time left. You should have about 2:30-3:00 if I remember correctly.
Thanks -- I ended up doing something like:
Pop the 2-3 initial guys, throw a grenade.
Move to the support column, shoot a few jackasses behind the boxes barricade
Move to the boxes before the barricade on the right and snipe the guy down the left corridor.
Turn around snipe guy down right corridor, reload, move toward column. snipe everyone i could, move to back of column, snipe remaining guy, proceed... then I winged it.
I thought I was in deep shit when I had 50 seconds to clear the room and upload the stop codes -- I finished uploading the abort code with something like 2.7 seconds remaining. Talk about close calls. :)

Took me fucking forever, but I managed to get through it and out of my Groundhog Day hell. Granted I still have milehigh club, but fuck, maybe that won't be so bad now that I've got the whole veteran campaign under my belt.

980/1000 with only mile high club left.
what the fuck does darthbudge even mean?
I used to like birds alot, specifically Parakeets or as they should really be called Budgies. I also like Star Wars Alot.

So one day I walked into the living room and my dad said jokingly "Hey Darth Budge get over here" and it stuck.

That is the story. Now where do you get the TiredForNow from?

EDIT:

Abort Codes Frosty? I don't remember any abort codes in the PC version. This is what happened in the PC version.
You go through all the levels until you reach the end, when suddenly a door opens and it goes in slow motion and you have to shoot this guy who is holding a hostage before he executes him. Then they grab the guys suitcase and blow a hole in the plane and jump out. Is that what happens in the 360 version?

Brak, I laughed hard at the Tamagotchi's on that Dreamcast bit.

And wow, the Dennis Wilson reissue will have the Bambu (i thought it was Bamboo) stuff on it.
I've only heard a little of that stuff.

Interesting.

Mak I didn't buy Lost because I have never seen Lost.
You need to get on that ASAP cause the show is ABAP.

Caught a new movie last night ... Right At Your Door. It was actually kinda scary. It's not a horror movie .. it's just a slice of life of two people in the midst of a biological terrorist attack in Los Angeles. Maklershed recommends.

You might like these lyrics Budgie.
The song is called Budgie Jacket, by Felt.

When i was a
A little boy
An old man he touched me
He thought that i was
A little girl
Because i looked so pretty
Looked so pretty

He led me into
His little house
And put his hand inside my shirt
I backed away some
Thought i should go, no
I stuck around for my reward
(forthcoming hoard)

Do those lyrics bring back some bad memories from your childhood?

Talking about No Fighting in the War Room, not Mile High Club (Hence why I have 980 of 1000 cheesemint points and still have to do Mile High Club for the last 20.)

Should you be DarthBudgie then? Sounds more accurate, parakeetboy. :)

Will that be your first 1000 / 1000 frosty? I've already 1000'ed three games. :booty:

It's good, but it's no American Gladiators brother.

lol that would explain why your description sounded off too. lol Sorry I thought you were trying to do the Mile High Club.

EDIT: That would be more correct frosty. However everything isn't correct on the internet.

And one of them isn't even Halo 3, fanboy.
I could 1000/1000 cars and open season in my sleep. Long adventure mode and all. FF2 would be the pain in the ass, since some of those are online type cheesemints. but the majority of that seems like a sleepwalk too, buddy boy. :)

(2 hour?) recap/introduction/summary tonight followed by season premeire tomorrow!

I had somehow managed to get a checkpoint at the end of the first corridor once you drop down the stairs and was stuck there because of the fucking double guards, one down each hall... and I had the poor ass luck that every time I managed to ace both of them, I would end up needing to reload or something and the guys would swarm me out of the next corridor while doing so... what a pain in the neck.

Tsk Tsk. Jealousy is such an ugly emotion.

Although I am thrilled to see I have an XBL GP stalker. :bouncy:

I've kind of lost my obsession with getting 1000 / 1000. I'm not sure I'd bother setting up an online meet with another random cheesemint whore just to 1000 / 1000 FF2 again.

WTF, I no longer get full stealth edits. Booo!
Trading Open Season for PSU. Apparently you get 1000 / 1000 for just finishing the single player quest in that one. (As long as I can stand playing through it...)
Yes and no.

It's about 20 hours for the single player stuff.

There's an extra 250 points for the expansion, but it was never coded properly within the game. You'll unlock the achievements, have them appear on your gamercard (but no one elses), but not actually count for anything. I imagine this is the crap EA fumbled with for the latest Godfather content.

I've actually got 11 out of 13 achievements and a total of 1130 (maybe?) points, but I only see it when I unlock a new achievement from the game. It'll add them to my overall gamerscore, then disappear from my score when I switch to another game.

Only three of the expansion achievements are actually available and require the expansion which requires the subscription fee to use.

I've heard recovering your profile may work, but with all the problems with Live as of late I'd rather not attempt it.

fucking CAG kept screwing up right as I was trying to make that post back from around 4-something yesterday, and kept reposting me when it would refresh.

Nuked all the extra posts. @whee.

Morning OTT.

Damn It!

I need to get my 'Morning OTT' in before 7:30, or my day is shot! Now I'm going to be behind on everything the rest of the day.

Whats happening in the world today?

I slept with your wife when you slipped out to work, #83. Infact, I'm sitting in your chair at home naked.

Are you saying 0 of the 1130 points get added to your overall score or just the bit above 1000 (from the expansion.)

The expansion stuff is busted until they patch it. You get the cheesemints, the points just don't add to your score.
Morning OTT. About to head out to a Motion to Dismiss hearing on the stupidest case I've ever worked on. Some seriously head-on-the-desk in disbelief kind of stuff.

On the bright side, this made my day: http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/artic...wilsons-ipacific-ocean-bluei-finally-reissued
(amazing album that I've only heard in bootleg).
Thought you'd like to know that I an interview next week at the Attorney General's office.

Also, I ended up owing the IRS a shitload less than I thought.

Good day for me. :)

Question is, how much of a difference on owing are we talking about? 2x less? 3x? 4x?

Then you're on the hook for half of the utility bills for the month. No free rides!

And take the chair with you when you leave!

Remember in Star Fox 64 when you're saving Fortuna from the bomb exploding?

Some shitty knock off Star Fox team comes and fucks with ya. Thats Star Wolf.

A lot less. I saved $1,000 thinking I'd owe that much and I only owed the IRS $156. I received $158 from the state, however, so I ended up with $2 off my H&R Block bill.

They might charge a decent amount, but the woman was insanely helpful.

Tonight they're reshowing Through The Looking Glass from last season, and then tomorrow it starts with an hour recap special and then the season premiere. I'm prolly gonna watch Through the Looking Glass tonight just cause it was such a great episode.

Thanks to my officemate, I think I can now finish my taxes -- he helped me figure out how to do the fucking longterm capital gains taxes on the stock i sold... now it's just the pain in the balls of entering like 36 entries.
