Mario Galaxy was way too far from being done to be a pack-in. None of these "hardcore" games were going to be packed in because of the focus of the system towards being for everyone.
Besides, I wouldn't be surprised that once you got your hands on the Mii Channel, you would start digging Wii Sports more than you think you would.
